A hidden gem
This is worth looking for, hidden in a square very near the central market building. We stopped and poked our head in and asked to buy beer on tap. What a treat! We tried all 3 beers on tap and were given some snacks as well, perfect to go with the beer. Their is no seating inside as full of production so tall table and stools were placed under the awning outside. Between our limited Spanish and their much better English we learned a lot of the hard work and loving care of the brewing process. We really enjoyed the mini tour and especially drinking the fantastic flavour beers. They also sell take out in very impressive packaging (mini crates). Highly recommended for the beer connoisseur or just for a great beer on a hot day.

Microbrewery Great Beer
At last - This is a revolutionary review. Yes there is a microbrewery in Ceuta. Rocio self taught brewer is brewing some fantastic beers. I went there with one of the crew and sampled all five of her great beers and some more of her experimental beers. She is there on her own, doing all the prep and the brewing, when I asked her about which chemicals she added she was insulted. The beer is quite misty, similar to a white beer (but better). She takes great pride in her stock, she has ales and pale ales. This is beyond what one can buy from a pub in the rest of Europe. If you get there at the right time on a Friday you can partake in a great paella as well. So impressed that bought a instant case, lasted all of two days !

The wonderfully unexpected microbrewery with great beer!
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening in the microbrewery. The range and flavours of beer were wonderful. I particularly liked the pale ale and would recommend visitors to decide their favourite brew. The shiny brewing kit and the minimalistic style make it a thoroughly modern experience. We were thrilled to be able to speak a fine mixture of spanish and english with the hosts who could not have been better company.
