Worth a visit
Not large (well, neither is Ceuta...) - but an interesting selection of shops, mostly produce. Looks fairly clean and organized. I too found many shops shut - don't know if it was time of day, day of week.... Still worth a visit.

Well patronized by the locals
Late morning and plenty of people coming and going at the entrance so could not resist going in and having a look. Could then see why it was fairly busy as there were plenty of stalls selling foods mainly. Nothing spectacular but we always like to see aspects of local life.

Not the prettiest of markets !
Indoor market for Ceuta- not the prettiest market you will have seen but full of fresh produce- fish, seafood, meat, fruit and vegetables, nuts and olives.
