   Went rafting on July 11th with Aleix from Llavorsí to Sort. We had a fantastic time from minute one as all the staff were super friendly and more importantly highly experienced and professional. We enjoyed the rapids as well as floating on calmer waters and jumping into the river from a bridge and thanks to Aleix we always felt safe but had a lot of fun. He also managed very well the atmosphere on the boat as he had the challenge to communicate in three languages: Catalan, English and Spanish. Aleix and all the other guides went out of their way to ensure that absolutely everybody could join in regardless of age, fitness, health etc. Thanks very much from Mons, Jac and Liz. See more..

   We booked the morning rafting Llavorsi-sort in July 2022. Phenomenal experience! It was a blast! Tour guides were wonderful and made sure we were all safe. Equipment is almost new. Alex the guide in our rafting made our adventure unforgettable, he explained some stories about places around the river Noguera Pallaresa and kept the positive energy all along. The group I was with was a lot of fun. Also I keep my highest thanks for Dolca who is managing the administration part. She is a real profesional and soooo kind. She even took from her time to help us for our parking in Barcelona. 10/10 recommend you add this excursion if you’re planning on traveling around Sort !    We've been to many national parks, both in Europe as in the United States. Aiguestortes is definitely one of my favorites. It's just so stunning! Take my favorite hike: from the Prat de Pierro parking area (where we spotted deer), to the Santa Maurice lake, to the Ratera waterfall, to the Ratera lake, to the Santa Maurice lake overview point (Mirador del Estany) and back to the Prat de Pierro parking. If you take it easy and are in good health, this could be a relaxed day hike. Bring hiking shoes! You're sure to encounter horses and cows, likely to see a salamander, and if you're lucky you'll spot a vulture (we saw one). See more..

   We walked about 32kms from the town Palafrugell to Sant Feliu de Guixols. We first had to walk to the coast of Calella de Palafrugell where we slept and started our journey on foot along the camino. Except for Calella, which is a gorgeous, well preserved town, the cities are not particularly nice, but it was perfect to jump from town to town in order to be able to buy food and water so we did not have to carry a lot of it.    There are two romanesque chuches in Taull dating from from the 11/12th ceturies. Santa Maria is located in the town square and is maybe more atmospheric, either unlit as it would have been , or illuminated. St Climent has achieved fame because of the wall paintings which were hidden for many years. Much has been relocated to the MNAC in Barcelona but the restorations are in place.What is spectacular is the digital projection into the apse where the paintings are, which recreates them in extraordinary vibrancy, and shows them as they might have been experienced when first painted.     Chur took me and a friend on a fantastic 2 day climbing trip in the Spanish Pyrenees. It was one of the toughest yet exhilarating climbs I have done! Chur is a true professional and made our climb what it was, given we were inexperienced climbing at high altitude in thick snow with crampons. He was funny, friendly, supportive, knowledgeable and an all round great guy. Chur allowed us to climb at our own pace and was always checking to make sure we were OK. We reached the top and it was such a fantastic feeling, true teamwork at its finest. The views over the Pyrenees were unbelievable and like nothing else I’ve experienced.     Magic mon del tren is a venue dedicated to the hobby of collecting and model-making. This new facility in our country attempts to introduce the unknown miniature train world to the general public of any age. Josep Arumi Bou has been a Marklin train collector since 1984. During all this time he has been making up an important collection of locomotives and passenger and freight cars in gauge HO (1:87) together with other gauge 1 elements. On the ground floor of his house he had several glass cabinets containing a part of this collection and two gauge HO layouts. The oldest one, built in 1991 using M railway tracks, recreated the stream railway world. The other one, more recently built using K and C railway tracks, recreated the modern electric traction railway.     I am passionate about nature, loving touching the ground and feeling the water falling over me... Nevertheless, not being physically prepared for Canyoning drove fears having a hold on me. But not anymore!!!! The guide's expertise, care and clear directions took those fears away. He (Esteve) made sure all the team fulfilled the activity successfully, safetly, creating a friendly atmosphere and wisely picking the moments/places for good shoots (then he sent us the pictures really soon!!!).     First time I did rafting and I'll so do it again! The whole experience was absolutely amazing. From the organisation to the guides, even the water had the perfect temperature ;) Our guide was very knowledgable and made sure to highlight every sight we passed and explain us a little about the environment and history. He made sure we were safe and was actually quite funny. The whole trip took about 2 1/2 hours and we were able to swim in-between and some of us jumped down a bridge even, very memorable experience really.     This hiking was one of our best days during our vacation. During the summer a taxi brings you to the starting point. You climb about 40 minutes until you get to the dam where you can find the Refugi de Colomèrs. When we where there the lake at this dam was quite empty and still it was very impressive. From there we took the shorter route - about 3.5 hours walk - which was not so easy but reasonable hike with wonderful views which is called 7 lakes. This is a full day activity and was very enjoyable. We recommend taking this hike, we simply enjoyed it. You walk in the nature and see several lakes and other kinds of nice mountain views.
