4.5Basílica de la Sagrada Familia(166.0k reviews)from $53.53 - Breathtaking Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Architectural Buildings • Churches & Cathedrals
The Basilica de la Sagrada Familia is a church devoted to the Holy Family. One of Antoni Gaudi’s most famous works, the church is perhaps best known for still being under construction since 1882—with works funded purely by donations. Take a lift to the top of the towers for a panoramic view of the city and marvel at the ornate architecture. The nativity facade and crypt have also been awarded UNESCO World Heritage Status. Skip the line with a pre-booked tour with tower access, or combine your visit with another of Gaudi's work, Parc Guell. – TripadvisorSee more..

The cathedral is dedicated to St Thecla and is erected at the top of the acropolis or hill of the ancient city. Its construction began in the year 1171 and it was consecrated on 4 July 1331. Its foundations and later architectural development are located on the remains of an ancient Roman construction begun in the second quarter of the 1st century bc. and completed at the beginning of the Vespasian Empire (69-79 AD). The Cathedral is gothic in style. Its floor plan is in the form of a Latin cross, with three naves each with their own apses and transept. The head is of Romanesque tradition with half-point arches supporting the extension of the stone wall and pilasters following the new constructive techniques of the Gothic movement.See more..
4.5Turo Seu Vella(1.280 reviews) - Great for history buffs Spent More than 3 hours Historic Sites • Castles • Churches & Cathedrals
Driving in to Lleida u cannot miss it. Standing high and proud on top of the highest hill of the city is the Turo Seu Vella. The complex itself is also wonderful. The cloister is still in a very good shape. The old catedral still has beautiful 13th century frescoes and there are the very pretty old gates on the site. If you are not really into history the way up is still very rewarding as you will have fantastic views over the whole town.See more..
Beautiful setting, closest car park could mean 10 minute walk for anyone with mobility issues. 6 euros to get in, 4 for concessions. Allow 1 hour to walk around, there is a restaurant, unsure if one can buy just coffee. Lovely views, A few minutes away small chape and ruins, worth looking at as well. We took a picnic and went down to Port Selva. Very enjoyable.See more..

Reial Monestir de Santes Creus is one of three Cistecian Abbeys located in the region (Tarragona and Lleida Province), in the South of Catalonia. It was built in the 12th Century and it was the Royal Pantheon of the Kingdom of Catalono-Aragonese crown until 14th Century, when the pantheon go to Santa Maria de Poblet Monastery. Nowadays it is a religious building, but there is not monks from Mendizabal Desamortization in 1835. It was a lovely visit, especially for historic-lovers. In fact, you can see the main church and a lot of places like the church, the cloister or a part, which is in nowadays in Ruins, but from here you can see very nice views of the main complex. Also, you can see a very nice fountain in cloister, some corridors or big and impressive rooms. Really a fantastic visit. A top in the region. 4.5Iglesia de Santa Maria de Taull(162 reviews) - Beautiful example of Romanic Art Points of Interest & Landmarks • Religious Sites • Churches & Cathedrals
Taull is a village with 2 churches. Despite being St. Climent the most famous one I enjoyed this one much more. The reason behind is this church is still in use so the frescoes on the stone have been repainted and the original ones are in the museum. The one in the altar is just pure beauty. And once you are inside the church you feel the feeling of cozyness of a place which is nice warm, and beautiful and not the feeling of being in another touristic atraction like the other church. A Must in Taull...See more..

The Santa Maria Basilica Collegiate of Manresa (the See) is one of the most representative examples of the Catalan Gothic and it is also a symbol and an icon of the Bages district capital. Located at the top of the Puigcardener, it sights the city at its foot from the left side of the Cardener River, at the bottom of the cliff. The See is, without any doubt, the main historical, identity and spiritual reference of all the Manresans. The privileges conceded by Pope Leo XIII in 1886 turned the temple into a Basilica.See more..
