Maladeta Summit Feb 2020

Chur took me and a friend on a fantastic 2 day climbing trip in the Spanish Pyrenees. It was one of the toughest yet exhilarating climbs I have done! Chur is a true professional and made our climb what it was, given we were inexperienced climbing at high altitude in thick snow with crampons. He was funny, friendly, supportive, knowledgeable and an all round great guy. Chur allowed us to climb at our own pace and was always checking to make sure we were OK. We reached the top and it was such a fantastic feeling, true teamwork at its finest. The views over the Pyrenees were unbelievable and like nothing else I’ve experienced. To anyone considering booking Chur for any activity...do it! I am already looking to book another climb with him later in the year. We made a friend for life when meeting Chur! :)

Mt Aneto
In June 2019 a friend and I travelled to climb Mt Aneto and not knowing the area, we decided to pay for a guide. We met Chur in Benasque and he was amazing. His English was excellent (in an area that few people are confident of the language and most don’t speak at all), his experience of the Pyrennes gave us the confidence that we were in safe hands, his knowledge of the area gave us insights that we’d never have got by ourselves, and his patience in getting a “tortoise” and a “hare“ to the top together helped us achieve the goal of the trip. While you can do Mt Aneto without a guide, having Chur took away a huge degree of uncertainty and helped us get more out of the trip than simply climbing a breathtaking and, at times, nerve wracking mountain. I have no hesitation recommending Chur if you’re looking at an outdoor activity in the Pyrennes, and if we return, we’ll certainly be seeking him out.

Unforgettable week of canyoning
Canyoning in the Sierra de Quara. Chur is a fantastic guide and guy.He guided us during a whole week in the Sierra de Guara canyons. Specially the 120 meter rappel in the Obscuros de Balcés we will never forget Los seis vetaremos belgas
