    We had to make a pitstop at Cramele Garboiu on our trip from Baia Mare to Tulcea. We were thinking to but some wines to stock for our fishing trip to the Danube Delta. I was really impressed by the wines tasted at Cramele Garboiu. We've bought some 24 bottles of all sorts of wines. I've bought some Livia's Cabernet and one of Tectonic's Feteasca Neagră 2013, which was extraordinary. Decent prices. I recommend you to visit and buy their wines. I surely will do so.     Situated in the triangle described by the town of Sulina and the villages of Crisan and Caraorman in the Danube Delta there is situated the Vatafu-Lungulet Nature Reserve closer to Sulina. This is an are that is protected in the Delta in terms of no commercial fishing or sports fishing its allowed however it free for tourists to enter and to visit - no additional fee is required, there are no fences. The easiest access is from the Vatafu lake via the channel that connects the lake to the city of Sulina. The area is typical for the delta , reach in wildlife - for those of you who are into bird watching will be for sure interesting ... It is a place that is not crowded and you can you admire the beauty of the Delta for hours without another boat disturbing the peace of the area. If you are in the area and you have a local guide they for sure will be able to take you to the reserve so you can make some beautiful picture - and I recommend you only take pictures with you back home , don't try to take back water lilies or other plants with you , it is forbidden!     This was an unexpected gem that we stopped on our last morning in Tulcea because I am a lover of both history and art. The woman we spoke to was very knowledgeable about the history of the house as well as the art on display on both levels. The Avramide family were wealthy businessmen who lost everything when Communism took over and the family home was later turned into a museum to celebrate art and culture. There was some really great art on display and even a small section where local high school art works were on display. The art by Eugeniu Barău was truly incredible and I had never heard of him before but the work was powerful, vibrant and political.
