A small patch in the vastness of the Danube Delta.

Situated in the triangle described by the town of Sulina and the villages of Crisan and Caraorman in the Danube Delta there is situated the Vatafu-Lungulet Nature Reserve closer to Sulina. This is an are that is protected in the Delta in terms of no commercial fishing or sports fishing its allowed however it free for tourists to enter and to visit - no additional fee is required, there are no fences. The easiest access is from the Vatafu lake via the channel that connects the lake to the city of Sulina. The area is typical for the delta , reach in wildlife - for those of you who are into bird watching will be for sure interesting ... It is a place that is not crowded and you can you admire the beauty of the Delta for hours without another boat disturbing the peace of the area. If you are in the area and you have a local guide they for sure will be able to take you to the reserve so you can make some beautiful picture - and I recommend you only take pictures with you back home , don't try to take back water lilies or other plants with you , it is forbidden! That's about it ... go and see for yourself - it is a place well worth discovering ... Enjoy.
