   We left our accommodation in Curup around 9.00 AM and after a 35 minute drive into the countryside we reached their coffee farm. Our guide briefed us on the process of growing coffee and how do identify coffee cherries ripe for harvest (they are dark red). Of course this would not be complete without drinking some of the freshly brewed coffee made from their own coffee beans. Then we headed out to enjoy a relaxing time chatting whilst picking the fruit. We had a traditional nasi bungkus (rice pack) for lunch with delicious grilled chicken followed by more coffee!     If you go to Penyusuk Beach I suggest you to go islands around the beach. There are two islands: Putri Island and Lampu Island. If you want to swim go to Putri Island because the wave is quite calm than Lampu Island. But if you searching for quietness just go to Lampu Island. To crossing the Island you can use traditional boat. For your information I rent boat to Putri Island and Lampu Island IDR 200.000/7 persons and IDR 75,000/1 equipment for snorkeling. So, if you use boat, it will take you to island and then leave you there. If want to back to Penyusuk Beach you must call the boat driver by phone. So, make sure your cellphone provider available on Bangka Island. My suggestion use tel***sel to call the boat driver and don't forget to save their number.     I'd been recommended to stay at the Banyak's my a few travelers , so I organized a few of my friends to come on a trip. We met in Medan, and took an overnight car to Singkil (Aceh). From there we took the public ferry and then another boat to Tailana. It was absolute paradise - a small sandy island in the middle of crystal blue water. The staff are super friendly and the bungalows are basic but all you need. Activities abounded with a scuba shop on the island, as well as volley ball, snorkeling and fishing on offer.     Salib Kasih is very beautiful place in Tarutung, North Sumatera, Indonesia. It takes 6-7 hours ride from Medan, the capital of North Sumatera. Many people come to this place during December. When you arrived there, I'm sured you will enjoy when you walking to the cross because of the trees and chairs that you can sit on when you or your family start tired or just wanna take a rest and enjoy the air - mountain air always great, right :) When you already at the top, you will see a very big white cross there, praying rooms complete with the bible and cushion inside, place to sit.     Oh My Gosh! This mountain requires good physical strength, balance, and endurance to climb. It took nearly 12 hours for us to get it done. On the way up, we must climbed and crawled since it's very steep. To go down also must be very careful. The surrounding jungle is beautiful, the trees are really helping to climb up and down.     Get to know this place from trip-advisor, and hence it became one of the itinerary on our plan. It's about one hour drive from Pekan Baru, and need a car and a local driver to get there. You will need to turn (left if from Pekan Baru direction) when you see the sign 'Elephant Conservation', and just follow the sign all the way (about 7km on non-tar road). It'll be difficult if it's raining day as the road can be muddy ! Suggest to negotiate the price that is acceptable to you first before you start any activities. We choose to bath the elephant and ride the elephant to stroll the in the forest. It's really great fun to get so close to the elephant and to bath the elephant. We then ride on those elephants we bathed into the forest. It's amazing to see how the elephant behave in the river and in the forest, and it became one of the most thrill ride and fun in our life !
