One of my favorite place in Palembang is this market. Located near the district centre (kambang Iwak), just tell the driver of any transportation mode you choose (becak, angkot, online motorbike/car, taxi etc) they will bring you here without much asking. Once you’re in, you will find soooooo many cheap pempek resto. You may eat here to taste the pempek before take it away. Have your own choosen or package to bring home. Or they can help to sent it to the other city by request (with some additional charge of course). Don’t expect for comfort, serene or aircon resto....what so ever it’s just a market, but it’s ok for me as long as I can get cheap and nice palembang traditional cuisine here (you also can find tekwan, model, mie celor, rujak mie, es kacang merah, kerupuk kemplang here)....
