I went to Way Kambas National Park as part of a volunteer and scholarship program through my university and Save Indonesia's endangered species and I fell in love with the place. The amazing work these people do to try to conserve the forest and the animals that live there is amazing. Such beautiful and genuine people. Way Kambas National Park and the Elephant conservation centre desperately need funding so make the effort to go out there and look around. But please, don't ride the elephants. You will be offered elephant rides as that is what they believe tourists want, please remember that these are wild animals and they deserve to be enjoyed in their natural habitat not ridden for enjoyment and the ability to post photos for friends at home See more..

Back to Rhino Camp in Bukit Barisan National Park on December 2022. again we visited RhinoCamp and Pemerihan. What visitor can do : trekking to see flora fauna raflesia and amorpophallus. we tried night trekking and fortunately saw tragulus. camping tent and food are available by request. as operator stand by on the camp the activities in the jungle should be guided by official guide of national park. Best time to spend time is in the early morning and late afternoon.See more..

Saya sangat penasaran dengan suku anak dalam yang katanya mereka berada di kawasan ini. Namun jika kalian ingin masuk ke kawasan ini harus dengan pemandu karena kawasan ini sangat luas. Suku anak dalam disini sudah modern karena sudah mengenal sepeda motor. Saya bertemu dengan suku anak dalam yang berboncengan dengan anak kecil (mungkin anaknya).
