Only one word to describe - Nature at its best. Located about 120Km from Morioka. Took the JR Tohuku Bus,took about 2.15minutes to reach the caves. Entry is about 1000¥. One of the largest cave system in the world. Has a underground river with three subterranean lakes. Very well preserved. need to be careful about your head. Can be bit cold & damp in the caves. Need to be careful in the rains, can be slippery. the whole cave takes about 1-1.30minutes to explore. cave & Underground lakes are well lit. There is another cave on the opposite side, has very well preserved stalactite lime stones. On the whole a wonderful experience, not to be missed.See more..
