    The climb to the base of the waterfall is a pain but is well worth it. I went there during summer and everywhere was hot. However, once I reached the base of the waterfall, it was very cooling. The water too was cool and crisp. If you are lucky you can even see a rainbow. Be warned that there are only 3 buses returning to sendai station so don't miss your bus. See more..
