    There is a Sakura festival that takes place at Funaoka Castle Park, closer to the Shiroishi River, which is located atop a hill. Sakura trees are lined along the pathway to the hill. Walking along the flower-lined pathway to the top of the hill is a beautiful journey. There is also a trolley available that takes you to the top of the hill. This park is the best place to have a bird view of the lined up Sakura along the Shiroishi River. See more..

    今年の夏休み、伯父伯母夫婦に連れてきてもらいました。
    ドイツ製の巨大な風車がいくつもあり、また、ひまわりが満開で、とても綺麗でした。
    標高が高い場所とあって、猛暑にも関わらず、吹き向ける風がとても気持ちよかったです。
    高原の眼下には、猪苗代湖、その先には磐梯山があり、眺めも最高でした。
    また、地元の農家の方が野菜を販売していて、大根やキャベツが、スーパーで買うよりもずっと安かったです。
    我が家は、キャベツを２玉購入しました。
    自宅に帰ってサラダやお好み焼きにしましたが、柔らかくて、とても甘く、本当に美味しかったので、あっという間になくなりました。
    冬季は雪のために通行止になり、行けなくなるそうです。     See more..
