What a beautiful place to see! We spent a whole morning in the gorge and took many many photos. Numerous waterfalls. Steep narrow cliffs. Spectacularly clean and well kept! It was not crowded and we found ourselves alone at times, even sharing a kiss in the romantic setting between the rock facings. 去喜峰口长城完全是因为《鬼子来了》片子中景象印象深刻所以才去的，到了潘家口水库才知道一定要坐快艇才能去喜峰口长城，呵呵……而且快艇还坐了很长时间，结果在喜峰口只停留了十多分钟就回了，因为船家只肯停那么久而且姜文村也确实没什么可看的。一路上风景确实很美，有山有水有长城，只是长城大都破败塌陷了，没看到长城象龙一样盘居在水里山上的景色，有点可惜。值得称赞的是那儿还没有旅游团，一切还是原生态的。看到许多独立的小岛上有帐蓬和钓鱼的人，很是羡慕啊~~~ See more..

前些天去了涿州影视城，我们是自己开车去的，从保定到影视城一个多小时，路况也很好，很方便。影视城规模不小，穿高跟鞋走路会很累，建议大家穿运动鞋去比较合适。我们去的时候天气还冷，花草树木还没长起来，看起来有点空旷。在中间的位置有一个可以拍照的地方，有三国、水浒等等的小房子背景和一些道具，只花2元钱，就可以随便拍照了，意外的便宜。很多人兴致很高地摆出各种姿势拍照，还有几个日本人也兴致勃勃地拿了各种各样的刀啦，大石头啦，肉啦，做出许多有趣的动作，令人忍俊不禁。看来，语言并不是障碍啊。 See more..

青山关景区绿化蛮好，空气也很不错，对于长期在雾霾里生活的石家庄人来说，呼吸特别舒服，不过景区周边的配套设施好像不太完善，玩了一天就只发现一家吃饭的地方，建议游客自备一些食物和水，要不然，体力会支撑不下去。

The street is have 2 avenues with many shops similars, most of them with cheap modern clothes Chinawide brands. The Great Wall at Dongjiakou is not for everyone. There is an initial one to two mile hike, sometimes steep to reach the wall. Those with difficulty walking will only be able to view it from the bottom. This section of the Great Wall is about 50 kilometers from the town of Qinhuangdao. You will need an in the know Chinese driver and or guide to find this location. Whether it is worth it to you to take an entire day or two to walk on a rugged and only sparsely restored part of the Wall is a personal decision you must make. For me and the few friends who accompanied me, this was a GREAT side trip to an area we know is authentic and original. We loved it. The hike in and climb to the wall can be done at a leisurely pace, so those who are a bit older, but able to walk and step up about 8 to 12" at a time will be able to make the climb. Take some snacks and water along. Not many places to eat, but as always your guide will be able to find some kind of restaurant in town, you just might not want to eat there. Again this depends on how adventurous you are in your eating habits. If you are picky or fastidious be sure and bring lots of snacks along with you. Enjoy! See more..

Xidaping Castle is around 600 years old castle built by Ming dynasty. From far away it looks like sand mountain. It is very good spot for professional or amateur photographs and many of them usually come there to take shots. It is also favorite spot for Chinese film makers. While we were visiting, they were shooting a tv show there. How to get there - If you are travelling from Yuxian city ( 蔚县）take S342 road till you get to the G109. You will see the castle from the highway. There is another way from the other side - through the village (XIdapingcun- you can find it on GPS)- it will take you through the villages but it is much more better than the road connecting the castle and G109, so if you dont want to walk there, then I recommend the second option.
