The Head of the Great Wall
Stepping in the head of the Great Wall is really magnificent. The beginning starting from the sea is just like a dragon drinking water from the sea. Then it’s body stretches all the way to Gansu (end of Great Wall). A must visit if you are at Tianjin; just 1.5 hours away by speed train.

Amazing place.
This was one of the places I wanted to visit. The ticket is only 20 RMB, and the ride there with Didi was about one hour but worthed. There are electronic machines where you can pay using Wechat or Alipay. Otherwise, you have to queue and use cash. Once inside you can walk around the wall of the museum/house. The museum will take you 30 minutes to see everything in detail. There is a delightful maze that will entertain you for another 20 mins or so. Then, you go to the Laolongtou and can enjoy the view of this remarkable place. I walked out of it and went to the temple of gods of the sea.

Beautiful sandy beach
Few were out and about during my early morning walk on the beach. The water is chilly yet, or at least for me. Nice sandy beach and fairly clear blue waters.
