Very traditional chinese acrobatics. You can see things like magic show, climbing on knifes ladder, different balancing acts, blindfold dagger throwing and a few other typical circus acts, some are really jaw dropping stunts that make you go "what the ..." The different acts are stationed at different parts of the attraction and only one act will be performed at any point of time. They follow a fixed sequence in order for visitors to be able to watch all of them. So the visitors will have to move from station to station after each performance. You will need half a day to watch all of them, so they are planned in a way that there are two sessions, AM and PM, where each act will be performed once per session. The attraction is not really catered for international tourists but more for the chinese as everything are in chinese, signboards, language used in interacting with audience during performance, etc. So if you do not understand chinese, you may have some difficulties understanding the jokes or instrustions from the performers.See more..

This traditional iron melting show is very popular and you shouldnt miss it if you are visiting the town of Nuanquan. We travelled by car and had a little difficulties to find the place as we were following the GPS directions which were wrong. ( But we werent alone, because there were also many cars with Beijng plate numbers that got lost and couldnt find it). I would recommend to place big signs for the tourists. The show starts at 7 pm an lasts about 50 mins. You will see the Iron melting show- that looks like fireworks - some few hundred years old tradition for which this town is famous. The ticket can be bought either from the ticket booth for 160 rmb or, if you get lucky, some people can be selling it in front of the entrance for 100 rmb.See more..
