Really enjoyed my outing with my 16 year old son during our August family beach trip. Conditions were excellent throughout, the black tees were pretty challenging medium length hitters, and pace of play was just fine. Staff were pleasant and helpful throughout. And the plantings are as elaborate and beautiful as I've ever seen on a course. Fairly pricey but worth the cash. Will be back if we vacation there again.See more..
3.5Bear Trap Dunes(65 reviews) - Families Renting Here - BEWARE OF POOL POLICY Saturday: 6:30 AM - 10:00 PM Golf Courses
Bear Trip Dunes is a modern, amenity rich community where families with children may rent condos or homes for vacation. Like us, proximity to the beautiful Bethany Beach, combined with Bear Trap's on-site amenities (pools, gym, tennis, beach shuttle and golf) make this an ideal spot for a family vacation. One can rent a home or condo either through individual owners and/or through a corporate entity. Once here, renters/visitors must purchase a $40 per-person per-week pass (not pro-rated by the day) to use the aforementioned amenities (with additional costs for golf). However, what we did NOT know before coming Bear Trap Dunes is the POOL POLICY. Families with children under 18 should be aware of the following pool policy. EVERY HOUR, ADULT SWIM IS PROVIDED FOR 15 MINUTES. FOR THE LAST 15 MINUTES OF THE HOUR, ALL PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST EXIT THE POOL. The lifeguards routinely enforce the policy, which we wish we had known. Families who do not expect to spend their days at the beach should consider this policy carefully. While a boon to adults, this is difficult for young children who wish to spend the day at the pool.See more..
4.0Captain Jack's Pirate Golf(56 reviews) - Nice family owned mini-golf, fun for all. Saturday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Golf Courses
This is a neat pirate-themed golf right downtown in Bethany. One of the girls working there was the daughter of the family who owns the course and she was very friendly and told us a lot about the course and all the little elements. The kids liked the pirate theming and seeing the ship and the statue that holds the flaming torch. We would definitely go back.See more..

3.5Rookery Golf Club(22 reviews) - Nice golf course, just give us some yardage markers Golf Courses
Had a chance to play this course twice last weekend. A good course is always better the second time when you know what is around the corner. Course is in good shape. Greens are fair, tee boxes are clean. A big however is-- give us more yardage markings. The tee boxes rarely gave us a marker that we could count on and there were no sprinkler head markings in the fairways. Minor point, but quite frustrating. Otherwise, nice staff, and good course on the way to Rehoboth.See more..
4.0Penisula Golf and Country Club(10 reviews) - Excellent Restaurant In Every Respect Saturday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Golf Courses
Six of us ate dinner here on Friday night. 100% top shelf. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has great views out of very large windows. The menu is varied. The prices are more than reasonable. The food is delicious. The service is first quality. What more need be said? Try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.See more..
We visit this mini-golf course every summer as it is down the road from our beach house. The kiddies love it! Course is well designed and fun. Definitely recommend trying if you are in the area.See more..
4.0Hooper’s Landing Golf Course(7 reviews) - Comfortable fun course Saturday: 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM Golf Courses 18 fun holes. some open, some woods lined. Average challenge level. Only minus is lack of range for practice before your game. Carts do not have GPS.See more..
4.0Heritage Shores Golf Course(7 reviews) - very nice course, well maintained, and has some challenging holes as well as short holes. Very nice layout. Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
Our annual vacation always includes this course. Last year we had 28 golfers and they all enjoy playing this course. We will be there again this year the first Wednesday in May and look forward to playing it again. See more..
3.5Jonathans Landing Golf Club(6 reviews) - Very slow play Golf Courses The staff were friendly but we did not like few of the things at the course. They had a ranger but we never saw him.The twosome in front of us had to be beginner golfers( the one took 3 shots off the first tee and i counted 14 strokes total. We finally got thru them to be held up again at the 4th hole. It took us 2 1/2 hours to play 9 holes and we quit. I did like the layout and it was in good shape but then again they had horrible markings to each tee and some were very confusing. I would also have likes to see some yardage markers in each fairway.See more..
3.0Frog Hollow Golf Club(6 reviews) - Scenic and Challenging Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
Beautiful course 30 minutes outside of Dover, Delaware. Not overly long with five tee boxes from 6,608 to 4,746 yards. Lots of bunkers and water is in play on many holes.See more..
Wife and I played this in October. it says it has a 4 or 5 par 4s, but really there was only one hole that was over 200 yards. Course was great for my wife who doesn't play golf that much. The course was in good condition and it was an enjoyable time for both of us. The course meanders through the housing community.See more..
4.0Mulligan’s Pointe(4 reviews) - Affordable golf, nice track, friendly staff Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
I played here back in June for the first time since last summer. The course was in great shape and it's obvious the staff was working hard during the shutdown to create some new features on the course. The staff was as friendly and accommodating as I remembered from my first visit. The course is a little off the beaten path from OC but worth the trip...and I felt this even more after hearing my buddies who played one of the courses in West OC had over an hour long trip to get from West OC to 38th St the previous Saturday. Avoid that traffic snarl and give Mulligan's Pointe a try! Affordable golf, nice track, and friendly service. My cart mate summed up the course as "very playable but you've got to make your shots." We'll be back next time we're on the Eastern shore!See more..
3.5Back Creek Golf Club(3 reviews) - Nice Mix of 18 holes and 19th hole Golf Courses Can’t beat playing 18 holes and then socializing at 19th hole and Back Creek does it right. The golf course is in great shape even with all the play they get. They have food and drink specials on certain nights and I highly recommend Monday burger night.See more..
3.0The Rookery South Course(1 review) - Nice course Golf Courses Played here for the first time on a trip to the Delaware shore. Easily walkable, which I appreciated. A little expensive in my mind. Course was nice, but nothing real special. Good pace of play.No holes that stood out as signature holes.See more..
