On the east side of the bridge you can go on the beach and hang out. There is a sidewalk that goes from the east side of the bridge and extends all the way down quite a distance to the west and a great place to go fishing. This is a popular place during the summer months and a great place for taking pictures and it’s also nice at night when the bridge lights up in blue. Please bring your family as there is a restaurant adjacent to the bridge with good food and good music. See more..

The William V. Roth Junior Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that goes over the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal in Delaware. The aerial views of the Canal are spectacular. And, the bridge, which is a harp-style, is yellow. Located underneath the bridge is a trail for cyclists, runners, and pedestrians. What a spectacular feat of engineering.
