We hiked up here (around 5k there and another 5k back). The tower itself was very nice and the view was great. You can either take stairs to the top or the elevator. We took the slide down which was so much fun. Make sure you put on snuggly fitting elbow pads because it goes quite fast, and it can hurt if they fall off. This was a part of the attractions included in The Innsbruck Card, but we would do it anyways because I love climbing towers - you are always rewarded with the most beautiful views. And the views from this historical tower just swept me off my feet! You can see the city and the Nordkette Mountain Range from the viewing deck. Climb 148 steps and have the most amazing photos of Innsbruck!!!See more..

Very nice cable car ride to the top. The view there is beautiful: three countries, the Alps, and the lake. The walk down took us less than an hour with our five-year old. We took a break on a bench halfway down, to rest and just take in the wonderful scenery. Well worth it if you are in Dornbirn.See more..
