   Вертеба — гипсовая пещера на территории Тернопольской обл. Украины. Находится в 2 км к северо-западу от села Бильче-Золотое. Название пещеры происходит от древнеславянского «вертеп», означающего пещера, овраг. Длина подземных ходов составляет 9 021 м (по другим данным — 8550 м). Впервые письменно пещера упоминается в 1822 г.
   В пещере Вертеба ученые обнаружили огромное количество археологических находок эпохи энеолита, результаты исследований которых позволяют предположить, что пещеру в давние времена посещали люди.

   Amazing light and water show in the heart of Ternopil. Newly opened fountain make just a breathtaking view on the Ternopil Pond in the evening. Show starts about 7 p.m. and last approximately 2-3 hours. Will be closed for winter period, but definitely worth to visit when start again at next spring. Really great place for the family, singles or couples to make a romantic photo, have a walk on the promenade and relax enjoying of unforgettable view. See more..

   We've been with group of 30 people, including kids (5,7years old) in the tour to this cave. The total area of natural caves is huge and can't be passed in one day. But even the part we saw was really fascinating. Nature builds it's crystals for million years and we had the opportunity to see this process. depending on the body type of most of the group the guide chose very narrow and hard to slip through way but that was real challenge for us to pass it. Even men 2m high and 100 kg weight passed those tunnels laying on their backs. Speleological camp provided us with uniform and lighters so we could easily lay, sit and slip from the rocks in the cave. I always thought I was claustrophobic but everything was ok in cave as the coving was so high above me. All the crystals are shining and sparkling like in the dream.    Месть интересно тем , что здесь нет как такового храма в нашем понимании. Просто в скале (мягкая порода) выдолблена полость. Низкий потолок и слабая освещенность - берегите головы! потолок и правды очень низкий все время приходится быть в полусогнутом состоянии. Надолго задерживаться не хочется, кажется, что эта конструкции вот-вот рухнет. Поэтому вход в глубь пещеры закрыли решеткой. Весь потолок в отметинах от сажи свечей, которыми прихожане рисуют кресты. Рядом есть небольшая часовня. И святой источник.

    The environs around the lake are pretty and well accommodated for walks. In the warm seasons, there are restaurants and ice cream stands; I visited in late Winter, and the lake was still frozen solid, with people strolling over it or ice fishing.     The primary attraction in the city of Pochaev (alternatively spelled Pochayiv or Pochaiv) is Svyato Uspensky Pochaev Lavra, one of 3 Lavras (Extremely Prominent Monastaries) in Ukraine. Largely considered the second most important religious center in Ukraine it is at least 500 years old and has been at the center of the back and forth between the Greek Catholic and Russian Orthodox Churches. The monastery is very family friendly. Once a day there is a free meal for pilgrims, and the hotel on site is 25 hryvna (about 3 dollars) a night. If that is too much there is also free lodging (floor space) beneath the Cave Church of St Job. (A blanket is also free but you might want to bring your own). Space in the hotel is dormitory style (very much like a hostel) with separate dorms for men and women. There is a cafeteria on site and the doors close promptly at 10 pm to the hotel. See more..

    Zbarazh Castle is one of the masterpieces of the fortification of the Ternopil region, widely known thanks to the events connected with the national liberation struggle of Ukrainian Cossacks, led by Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky.A fortified settlement has existed in Zbarazh in medieval times (original fortress is attributed to 1211), but after the destruction of the Mongol-Tatars for many centuries it wasn’t restored.     Ternopil has something for everyone – an idyllic town centre with two effusive fountains, small cobbled boulevards lined with a profusion of coloured flowers, a few book stalls and a variety of cafes and restaurants. Additionally there are a couple of bookshops and gift shops, a greek-style theatre overlooking a bustling square, an old castle (which admittedly does not look very castle-like), three ancient churches which are great for wandering into, three interesting museums, two huge parks with cafes, an open air stage, a small well-kept zoo, sculptures and pedalos to go on. It also boasts an iconic lake right in the middle where there are occasionally international sailing regattas adding a touch of vigour to its gently lapping waters.     This is a place for those who like primal primal tourism. Here you won't find easy and smooth ways to walk. You will have sometimes to bend your back for some minutes to be able to walk. Sometimes you need to push yourself through a tiny gateway. But is not something unreachable. If a 50 year old lady (guide) can walk all the path through, then almost everybody can do it. Great caves, unforgettable experience. But, if the administration of the region could build a normal road to the site and at least some basic facilities around, that would make this place more accessible. See more..

    Dzurinskiy waterfall is nice and vibrant waterfall at the bottom of Chervone hills. There are actually two waterfalls but second one requires at least 10 minutes walk deeper into the wood.     Very clean well preserved castle with magnificent view of old Terebovlya town and its surroundings. We visited it twice during the first week-end of May 2013. Both times the whole place was quiet with very few tourists wondering around. Entrance fee is about 1 euro. Ascent isn't too steep. We easily get to the top with our 3.5 years old son on foot and 18 months daughter on stroller. At the back of the castle there's a huge old park with big stage, nice monument of Sofia Kshanovska and a lot of birds and butterflies.
