   И я бы не называла как скит, так и источник -"РАЗВЛЕЧЕНИЕМ" -это источник ВЕРЫ. Развлечений тут как раз НЕТ.
   Но, в целом, место достойное того, чтобы посетить. Ехать ли исключительно ради самого источника -решает каждый сам. Хотя лично знаю несколько людей, которые из центра Украины едут по Почаевскому кольцу именно ради этого места. See more..

   Сам собор - не самый красивый, на фоне других готических построек Западной Украины. Кому-то помешали шпили их успешно снесли десяток лет назад.
   Собор был переделан под филармонию, здесь регулярно проводятся концерты классической музыки, в том числе и органной. Преимущественно репертуар состоит из детских циклов, но если быть внимательным и следить за годовщинами композиторов - можно найти что-то интересное - рождественские кантаты и другое. Касса находится справа от входа, и работает по своему графику (лучше приходить в средине будних дней).
   Стоит отметить и о гардеробе на подвальном этаже и о самом зале.

   Национальный историко-мемориальный заповедник «Поле Берестецкой битвы» – одно из самых знаковых мест на Волыни, обладающее огромной исторической ценностью. Заповедник расположен на острове Журавлиха – недалеко от городка Берестечко, в окрестностях которого летом 1651 года состоялась Берестецкая битва – одна из крупнейших в истории Украины.
   Современный комплекс заповедника включает деревянную Михайловскую церковь, Георгиевская мемориальная церковь, на нижнем ярусе этого храма расположен саркофаг с останками, каменная стена и кельи монастыря, которые были построены еще в 1914 году. В 1991 году на территории заповедника был торжественно открыт памятник казакам и крестьянам, работы Анатолия Кущ.    The first castle in Hubkiv was built in the 10th century, but it was ruined in the 13th century by the Mongols. Being restored in the 15th century the castle was ruined again by the Great Northern War between Russia and Sweden in the 18th century. But being ruined many times, it still exists being a little known gem of Rivne oblast. It is located on a hill above the river Sluch.     The Basalt Columns in Ukraine, about 30 minutes drive from Rivne, are considered a unique formation. There are no mountains in that part of Ukraine, just step. The basalt columns are underground! They were discovered in the 17th century by a peasant who wanted to dig a well in the ground and could not do anything but broke his spade. The basalt quarry was started there. And the village changed its name for Basaltove. Geologists say that there is no alternative in Europe. The basalt formation there is unique. Every column, their height differs from 3 to 30 m, is a pure polyhedron. Well, I looked in the dictionary what that means :) A solid body of 3 dimensions with flat sides and straight edges, a cube is an example of that form. Some columns have 4 sides, others 6 or 8. But the shape was formed naturally, about 650 million years ago, according to smart geologists, as a result of magma eruption. The roadways of such European cities like Paris, Brussels, Warsaw, Vienna, Berlin are made of basalt from that Ukrainian place! The roadway of the Red Square in Moscow is made of it! Incredible!     If you're in Bystrychi you must know that it's the most important and interesting attraction there. If you haven't seen the church, don't say you've been to the village! The church is a holy for the locals. If your family come from Bystrychi it's worth to carry out a pilgrimage to this holy. In the Internet you can be misguided by the information that the church was founded in 1734. It's false. Indeed the old church on this place was ruined by the World War II. The existing one was built in 1945 over the ashes. My wedding was in this church and I can tell that a wedding is something they put in a special way. The light was burning in the windows all the night on the eve: the preparation lasted. Two priests made the wedding: one of them was a local and the other specially arrived from another locality about 20 kilometers away.     Католический костел, восстанавливается в последнее время. В нем был захоронен Юрий Чарторийский, князь найбольшего роду на территории Княжества Литовского. Пару лет назад его потомки участвовали в перезахоронении останков. Костел красивый и уникальный. Находится возле озера безодня, еще одной достопримечательности Клеваня. Недалеко сохранился Клеванский замок. Пару часов можно выделить на посещение. На выходных или в другие дни лучше взять экскурсию и костел может быть закрыть в будние дни. Освятил место под собор и заложил первый камень в его строительство Святейший Патриарх Киевский и всей Украины Мстислав у 1990 году, а уже в конце этого года начал действовать нижний храм.     While on a Missions trip to Rivne, Ukraine, our hosts took us to Ostroh where we were able to spend a few hours visiting the Ostroh Academy. The history of this place is significant for Ukraine and travels through its time as a Monastery where education was prized and the first Printed Bible in the Ukrainian language took place (Ostroh Bible of 1581). The present day Academy hosts about 3000 students and reflects the monastic architecture of its past. The building was overrun and occupied by soldiers during WWII but much of the past remains. The trip into the world underneath is chilling and a place where many a tall tale is given. Definitely worth the trip. We had a great guide who was full of information and spoke English well.
