   Once in a lifetime opportunity to explore a genuine Soviet strategic nuclear ballistic missile base, including pressing the launch button in the decommissioned command centre. We booked with our host Elena before we visited Ukraine by email ([email protected]) and she was wonderful!! Elena was super helpful and knowledgeable, booked our minibus seats from Kyiv, and gave us a personal tour of the site. Thoroughly recommend booking with Elena!!!! If you are meeting the minibus at Demiivka market in Kyiv then recommend leaving yourself extra time to get there (find it), as it is not so easy to find. It is diagonal to the KFC/McDonalds on the other side of the E95 junction behind the pharmacy. The old market is no longer there so it is not obvious. See more..

   Очень красивое здание, которое удалось увидеть только снаружи, т.к. представления там идут не каждый день. Снаружи очень красовое, расположено в одном из лучших уголков Кировограда, в начале очень живописной пешеходной улицы архитектора Паученко (саму улицу очень советую как отдельную достопримечательность города!). С левого торца здания есть театральное кафе, открытое для всех желающих. Кафе нам очень понравилось: с летней террасой с видом на красивый сквер, очень вкусный кофе и изысканые десерты (см. фото).    I was in Kirovograd for business and wanted to check out some of the local culture. This museum was in a beautiful pre-revolution building and boasted a great collection of artifacts and history from different periods of Kirovograd's history. It was a very well organised museum, not large but very concise that really gave you a sense of the different influences on Kirovograd from ancient to modern times. Это родовое имение Тобилевичей, одним из представителей которых является классик украинской литературы, драматург и лдин из создателей украинского театра - Иван Тобилевич (он же - Карпенко-Карый).     Красивейшее архитектурное здание бывшей водолечебницы Елисаветграда,в котором до сегодняшнего дня сохранился парадный вход с резными дверьми, внутренняя лепнина потолков и стен, кое-где полы. Все это принадлежит сейчас 3 городской больнице и находится в неприглядном состоянии.     The Jewish History Museum is located in the city centre, in the former Great Choral Synagogue of Elisavetgrad, closed by the Soviets in 1957. Its massive building of impressive architectural beauty (eclectics with a touch of Mauritanian style) was returned to the Jewish community in 1991. The Museum, on display on the upper floor of the synagogue, was open by initiative of the Jewish community. I was told that back then it was the first Jewish community museum in Ukraine. From what I’ve read before coming, it’s exposition was rather representative. Unfortunately, when I visited this summer, the synagogue was under major renovation. But a very friendly guard let me inside, including to the upper floor. I was able to wander around and take photos freely. Sadly, due to the renovation, the museum exhibition is not currently on display. Some of its windows were merely moved to the walls and covered with old newspapers. Some items piled on the tables. It was the photo-gallery along the stairs depicting the most notable Jewish sites in the city that drew my particular attention. The guard has enthusiastically helped me identifying those places I couldn’t recognise and gave tips on how to find them. Since I wasn’t able to see much of the museum, my ranking is rather of the overall visiting experience, which I enjoyed despite the repair works in the synagogue. See more..

    Хожу на волы каждый год - на 9 мая. В День Победы. и буду ходить до конца дней моих. Мой дедуля воевал..Выиграл эту войну. Он умер месяц назад. но в память об этой победе и о том что было - советую всем ходить на Волы..как минимум на 9 мая. и в день памяти погибшим в этой ужасной войне межу УКраиной и россией. В коллекции музея много старинных вещей так или иначе связанных с Кропивницким. Здесь и мебель, и музыкальные инструменты, одежда того времени, письма, фотографии, старые афиши. В здании особая атмосфера, как будто время остановилось.

    Посещала несколько раз. Здание театра и интерьер обещают очень много. Все отремонтировано, отреставрировано, помыто, прибрано. Работники театра вежливы и интеллигентны.
    Что касается репертуара, он неплохой и спокойно качественный, не более того.
    Пойду ли я еще раз? Несомненно и с удовольствием.
