Although there is netting to prevent the exchange of missiles, it doesn't obstruct the view. Beer was randomly priced between 40-60 per 500ml which is less than £2. Easy to get to by bus from the airport or taxi (<100 / £3). With the new early UEFA kick off times (5.55 GMT, 6.55 CET, 7.55 Local) the metro might be an option. Held back for less than 1 hr after the match so not too bad. There are plenty of hotels nearby, so book a walkable one regardless of whether you intend to go out in the city after the game.     I love to visit this built in the 17 century Pokrovskiy Monastery Complex (also known as the Holy Shroud Monastery). It located right in the center of the city, across Historical Museum. Despite that it right at the busiest area (metro Istoricheskiy Museum and metro Sovetskaya) it feels so peaceful there, especially on the back where they have a small rose garden and you can rest in the shade of the trees. Beautiful architecture. They require for women to cover their heads and pants, but scarfs and skirt-like wrappings provided at the entrance. Church bell rings beautifully every hour. The Monastery has it's own very popular bakery for small pies and bread. You can buy those on the monastery territory or outside, on the left where locals artists sells their paintings.     Посетили впервые зимой без снега. Дорога нормальная. Посетить это место стоит, если находишься в этой месте. Только ради посещения этой горы ехать не стоит. Думаю, что в летне-осенний период здесь красивее. Сейчас все серое.
    
    По легенде в этой местности в монастыре доживали свои последние годы искалеченные в бою и старые запорожцы, которые больше не могли воевать. Когда ее жители отказались подчиняться приказам императрицы Катерины II, и русское войско разрушило святыню. По легенде, казаки зарыли золото, а серебро выбросили в озеро. Поэтому долину в окрестностях монастыря называют Золотой, а озеро – Белым. Сами же запорожцы, которые потеряли дом, с этой горы бросились в пропасть, чтобы не попасть в руки к императорской армии.
