   Место весьма интересное. Куча информационных стендов об истории. Зимой тут явно работает лыжный курорт. Есть бугельный подъемник. Есть ресторан с красивым оформлением, но ужасным обслуживанием и очень невкусной едой. Если вы хотите отведать свинной стейк с кожей - милости просим сюда!

    We just drove past this church and saw that it was open. During the Soviet era it was converted into a archive building so they just added extra floors and removed what religious items they could and covered others up. It is being restored by volunteers from the community.and one of them showed us around. It is in poor condition and safety factors are limited but it is not a tourist site yet. The volunteers have a lot of work ahead of them to remove the extra floors and other evidence of the Soviet era and to get it back to its initial role. It is a Catholic Church so its design is different from the majority churches in Ukraine which belong to one of the Orthodox faiths. See more..

    Chernivtsi Art Museum was established in 1988. It is located in the building of former Savings Bank (1901), which is one of the best examples of the Viennese Secession – a monument of national importance. The core of the museum's collection consists of items collected by Chernivtsi Ethnographic Museum. Replenishment of collections took place during research expeditions, as well as from charitable gifts of individual artists and patrons. Funds enumerate more than 10 thousand exhibits; most of them are represented in the permanent display.Art of Bukovyna of XVII-XX centuries that range from home icons by craftsmen to monumental art works of professional artists make up the foundation of the museum funds.     Architecture-natural complex of Utility Enterprise “Chernivtsi Oblast Museum of Folk and Architecture and Way of Life” (further “Museum”) is located in the North Eastern outskirts of Chernivtsi city, Ukraine.The decision about the creation of museum was made by the Decree of the Ministry Council of Ukraine №373 on July 19, 1977.Construction of museum was started in 1981 and was divided into two stages. First one included exposition zones “Khotynshchyna” and “Western Podnistrovya”.On July 5, 1986 museum was opened to visitors. Today’s exposition consists of two architecture-ethnographic zones: “Khotynshchyna” and “Western Podnistrovya”. It is planned to build two more architecture-ethnographic zones “Hutsul’shchyna”, “Prykarpattia” and archaeological sector ancient Bukovyna, which will reveal historic-ethnographic and natural peculiarities of the region. There are 35 architectural exhibits, which are typical examples of folk architecture of the second half of 18th – first half of 20th century.Funds of museum have 8,1 thousands units of storing.     The wooden church was first built in 1607 in the Bukovynian style with several restorations over the centuries. It has survived invasions and wars and it now seems to be kept as a historical building rather than a operating church. It was nearly burnt down in 1990s but was restored.     The complex is open all year and offers relaxation and entertainment for the whole family. There are two ski tracks in Migovo, each of them having a ski lift. Both of them can be used for night skiing. In order to provide the best skiing conditions, the tracks are maintained by snowguns and snowcats. The length of the ski tracks is 1300 m and 1100m, level difference is 181m. The track for beginners is 150 m length and is separated from the others. The track for snow-tubing is 150m length and has several turnings. The skating rink is at the foot of the ski tracks in front of the “HETMAN” restaurant and has a capacity of 150 people. On the territory there are 5 hotels ("Karpatska Veja", "Hirskyi Svitanok", "Noris", "Satori", Hostel), 4 pools, 3 conference rooms, 3 saunas. Guests are offered meals in 7 restaurants and local cafes: restaurant "Hetman", "Karpatska Veja", "Trembita", "Kolyba", "Shvydko", Pizzeria.     Visited this church with friends today, December 3rd and the wind and snow made this a very cold experience while walking around outside. Once you are inside any of the various buildings though it was just fine. This church is part of a larger monastery complex. The main cathedral was very impressive. I have been told that coming back here during the summer is much better because of all the flowers they plant on the grounds. The high ceilings that seem common in these orthodox cathedrals were painted with some amazing religious scenes as well as a portrait on one wall of Tzar Nicholas II and his family. There are a couple of places on the grounds of the monastery where they sell various religious souvenirs. Outside the front gate there is a small shop where snacks can be purchased as well. The friends I was with were excited to be able to purchase some containers of various flavors of yogurt that were made on site. We drove here from downtown Chernivtsi and it took us around a half hour or so at an average speed. The roads outside of Chernivtsi were much better that the roads inside of town so once we got out to the countryside were were able to safely pickup some speed to make it out to the monastery.
