A great location for a stroll, even when the lake is frozen.

The environs around the lake are pretty and well accommodated for walks. In the warm seasons, there are restaurants and ice cream stands; I visited in late Winter, and the lake was still frozen solid, with people strolling over it or ice fishing. But it was still a very nice walk around the lake.

    Lovely lake and pond
    A lot of place to walk, few semi-islands, landscape park in the other side, cruise board on lake. Very clean and green roads, also has dedicated bicycle paths. Similar to Batumi pond

    A walk for couples. Bring your padlock!
    We went for a quick day in Ternopil and this was definitely the best part on my opinion. It is not a long walk until the Island and it is worth it. On your way from the castel to the island you will pass by beautiful birds, couples, fishermen, amazing view of the lake and finally the island itself. On the bridge you can even find the lovers padlock and even bring your own to complete the experience. The island itself is a nice place to relax and enjoy the view. Recommended if you are passing by this small and pittoresque city.
