   My 6 year old daughter attended their summer camp in July. I was worried that she might feel isolated being the only English child in the group, but all the instructors spoke a high level of English, and took wonderful care of her, she was included and made lots of friends. For sure an experience she will never forget! They also sent me lots of photos if her doing the different activities on a go pro. Thank you to all the amazing staff their WILL be back next year!!!    I could not recommend the guys at ESR more highly. My two daughters (aged 9 and 6) just spent 5 days at their surf school (2 hours a day). The attention, fun and engaging way they worked with kids of all ages was superb. If you are thinking of trying to get your kids into surfing or give them a taste this is the place to do it. The beach is relatively shallow allowing long stretches of white waves to learn on, and the waves are not too high to be daunting to learners. The school provided 6-10 instructors each day so that on many occasions my two daughters had 1:2 tuition. As a result they improved hugely during the week and loved every minute of it.    The wetlands extend over a large area especially at low tide when the expanse of mud flats are exposed. There’s plenty of birdlife and I also noticed a couple of public viewing hides on the road into Santona - The road actually crosses the marshes for quite a distance. There’s a number of paths and trails which you can take and it’s enjoyable walking along seeing what you can spot. There’s an interpretive centre at the estuary end of the port area but unfortunately it was closed when I visited early March. See more..

    Se trata de un palacio de estilo montañés con jardín, muy cerca de la plaza principal del pueblo. La entrada a los jardines es gratuita y muy agradable para días calurosos, con sus distintas especies de árboles, un estanque, una pequeña exposición de bonsáis... En verano también suele haber conciertos o exposiciones. Y la casa se puede visitar por dentro por 2 euros/adulto y niños gratis, la vista guiada dura aproximadamente media hora, y resulta muy interesante. See more..
