   If you want to learn the story behind Al Hoceima and it's magnificent beaches, this is the place to start with. Given the pandemic period, and low tourists traffic, the excursion is confirmed once 8 reservations made, we were around 12 to 15, social distancing respected, and great insights shared by the local guide. It can be booked over phone, their info kiosk is near the port at walking distance from Quemado beach, i'll recommend the morning session or late afternoon to avoid the sun pick (we did afternoon one), it's an 1h30 tour with mix of islands, beaches, caves, if you're lucky enough you can see dolphins too See more..

   This park has one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. The park itself is pretty untouched and there is a road that leads you right to the coast, you just have to know where you’re going. There isn’t really much hiking that we could find but you’ll still get the gorgeous mountain views while you’re driving. There wasn’t a soul around where we were so it was extremely peaceful and seemed off the beaten path and non-touristy, which we loved. See more..

   That was my most enjoyable beach experience in the region : very clean sand and water, you can see fish swimming below you just few meters from the shore, respectful people, friendly local swimmers that help you climb to different rock spots and cheer to you when you dive from (1 to 6 meters of height), fair rates to rate beach umbrellas (40dh per day) Can't recommend it enough!!     We were staying in Al Hociema last week and drove to Plage Souani just outside of town. We turned off the main road and were confronted with a very large puddle that was draining onto the beach. As we drove through this puddle we realised that it was raw sewage flowing on the road and out to the Mediterranean Sea.
