We drove quads to the White Dune (2h Sportive trip through the desert). I have never driven a quad before and was surprised how quickly one learns - by the end of the trip I was driving up and down the dunes and speeding up on flat road! We heard about it from the yoga instructor at our hotel. We booked it two days in advance. On the day we were picked up and taken to the camp in the desert where we donned the clean protective gear and were instructed clearly and competently by Amin, the owner. Driving up and down the dunes was an exhilarating experience that we can warmly recommend! Bonus at the end: we got to peek into a traditional tent village and say hi to a baby camel, a tiny kitten and some friendly dogs. See more..

A paradise on earth! First, the staff are definitely the kindest guys I have met in my life. They are fun and professionals at the same time. They talk all English, French and Arabic. Moreover, The lagoon is a temple for kideboarding, the conditions and the vibe are always perfect. Everyone has always a positive energy to get the best of It and I guarantee you that every days you will spend there will be an unforgettable memorie. Furthermore, infrastructures and équipements are of high quality and the value of money is unbeatable. All in all, i strongly recommend you this place for you vacations even i you are not a kite boarder, you will not be disappointed! I spend 6 days of kitesurfing with Zakiteboarding. From the beginning before the departure, my impression was already good as Marine responded to my messages promptly, and answered every single question. Zak and his team were very helpful and friendly; always having great vibes and good sense of humor. Although I have not had kited for three years, I could pick up winds quite easily and made some solid progress/learnt new skills thanks to their advice! On another note, I was also very looking forward to lunch and tea they served to us (the best meal I had in Dakhla!). In my opinion, it was also a good idea to choose them rather than lodging in kite camps, because we could try different kite spots in Dakhla! My wife and I have been in Dakhla for 5 nights and whilst we have done a lot of great activities, this one was our favorite. The visit to the Dragon Island was incredible; a remote island where you experience nature at its purest with sightings of all kinds of birds. While we were not lucky enough to see dolphins, the trip there was fantastic and we saw, amongst others, pink flamingos. The service is flawless, they picked-us up from the hotel and from there on we got to meet Hicham and Kbiri who both were of great care and offered us great snacks ranging from pringles and non-alcoholic drinks to a tasty carrot cake. Hicham and Mehdi are truly exceptional instructors — I was very lucky to have met them. After each trial, they would give me feedback. Additionally, Hicham would also ask me, “What did you do right or wrong this time?” This was probably the most helpful part of the lesson because it made me reflect after each attempt at riding to really think about what I was doing, not just going through the motions. So memorable, I’m sure I won’t ever forget about these kitesurfing lessons. Badr and Yassine were very patient, encouraging, motivating and pedagogue. It was my first time ever experiencing this extreme sport. I only had the chance to take two sessions because I wasn’t staying longer in Dakhla (qué lastima) but one thing is sure I hope I can go back, and when I do.. YougiKiteBoarding will be my go-to! They came and pick us up from the hotel, a great service by nice people. Badr was very patient while teaching and comprehensive by accepting my last-minute booking with a great price compared to other schools. For that I thank you very much. The people running the place makes it worth your stay for sure!!! They are really friendly and help you get around nicely. They told and showed us everything we needed to know to get the best out of our holiday. The place is really nice to stay and has potential to become even better. It is a bit further away from the most kitespots, but thats why the price here is much better. They've helped us with a rental car which was also really nice and afordable. They were working on improving the place so there will be a nice roofterace in the future. The owners are well known in the area which will help you almost everywhere you need to go. We juste discovered thus place by coincidence on Google. Not too far from pk25 Beach in Dakhla. We had a good time there. Listening to sahraoui music.
