The Village represents a living museum to preserve the multi-ethnic Kadazandusun culture. It aims to share the knowledge, history, and cultural heritage of the multi-ethnic Kadazandusun community. The KCV offers you the opportunity to see and experience the culture and lifestyle of how the indigenous ethnic communities of the Kadazandusun in Sabah, North Borneo used to live in the past. This is from a nonSabahan. We moved to KK about 10 months ago. Tagal Tinopikon is a place like no others. Peaceful if I may say and very clean too. You can feel that you are far away from the hustle and bustle even though it is just 20 minutes from KK city. There, you can sample local fruits like Aroi and Tarap (if it's in season). And you can also watch locals aunties performs gong music. The entry fee is RM5. Go...you won't regret it. See more..

Spent a morning here, return taxi fare 150 MYR. It was a bit disappointing, but there were some amazing (to me) animals. The majority of the enclosures appeared satisfactory to my amateur eye. My understanding is that the majority of the animals and birds have been 'rescued' but having too much contact with humans, would not survive in the wild. If this is true, surely this is a good thing? I especially enjoyed the elephants and to my mind they have an excellent enclosure. Another highlight for me were the Borneo Gibbons, I spent a long time watching them and listening to them 'sing' Really noisy! The one Tiger appeared to be in excellent condition. The signage could be better. There are a lot of empty and roped off enclosures They really need to reopen the cafeteria......... Entry for a non Malaysian was a mere 20 MYR See more..

Spent few hours on a Friday night and was happy with the buzz. Staff is friendly and entertaining. Demographic is 95% locals and youngsters. 95% of the customers were drinking beer. Price is okay for KK, somehow too high for a place in that Caliber with that clientele. See more..
