  1. 5.0 Tropical Research and Conservation Centre (8 reviews)
    - STUNNING!
    Nature & Wildlife Areas
Tropical Research and Conservation Centre image
Tropical Research and Conservation Centre (TRACC) operates a marine conservation volunteer project near the Tip of Borneo in Sabah, Malaysia. We teach diving and marine conservation as guests help protect and rebuild reefs, turtles and sharks. We stay in tents and spend days doing marine conservation surveys and restoring coral reefs. This site is our main training site, with shallow waters and low currents. We also have a project for advanced divers on Pom POm island in Semporna, Sabah. See more..
  2. 4.5 Tip of Borneo (436 reviews)
    - Majestic!
    Points of Interest & Landmarks

Truly a gem! The view is breathtaking, and it’s so underrated, I feel it should be publicized a lot more. It’s free - there’s no entrance fee and you can stay as long as you like taking countless photos and videos. Our drone shots probably didn’t do justice to the beauty of the place. We came back the next day to see it again. Must visit! See more..
  3. 4.5 Tindakon Dazang Beach (8 reviews)
    - Out of the world
    Spent 2-3 hours Beaches
    Tindakon Dazang Beach image
This a secluded beach about 1 hour's drive from the Tip of Borneo via some estate roads. The beach is very beautiful clean and deserted. There two groups of rock formations which is unique. The beach is lined with coconut trees and is about one kilometre long. Use your GPS to get there. Part of the road is made of gravel. See more..
  4. 4.0 Kampung Gong Matunggong (10 reviews)
    - Not much to see really
    Spent < 1 hour Neighborhoods
    Kampung Gong Matunggong image
A village that sells gongs. I didn't actually see anyone making gongs, just hut after hut of board looking locals with stalls to sell gongs. There were rather too many stray dogs around which made my wife reluctant to leave the car and explore. It's something to do if you happen to be nearby, but I wouldn't travel any distance just to see this. I think it's just a bit too far out of the way to attract enough tourists to pay for making the place somewhere you "must" visit but without becoming somewhere to visit, it will never have enough tourists. 5. 3.5 Gombizau Honey Bee Farm (20 reviews)
    - Locally Farmed Honey
    Spent < 1 hour Farms

Since not much tourist or visitor would pay a visit here, they only do simple demonstration on harvesting the honey when there's people around. The farm was rather small as it is considered as 'village business'. See more..
  6. 3.5 Kelambu Beach (18 reviews)
    - Meeting of 2 beaches
    Spent 2-3 hours Beaches
    Kelambu Beach image
Kelambu beach or Pantai Kelambu is simply beautiful. Located in Kudat. Before you turn into the last junction into the Tip of Borneo or Tanjung Simpang Mengayau, you will see a small sign board of Kelambu beach, and you should drive straight. Look for the sign board which directs you to the exclusive Riviera Villas as it is the same junction you would take to reach Kelambu beach. Take a walk towards to island and around it. Breathtaking! 7. 3.5 Borneo Honeybee Centre (7 reviews)
    - Very informative
    Farms
    Borneo Honeybee Centre image
It is situated about 4 kms off the main road. It costs 3 ringgit per person for the full tour. We just had the short version and got to taste four flavors. We decided to buy a bottle of wild honey which was my husband's favorite. I preferred the Tropical honey flavour, which was made by native bees they imported from Australia. It had a milder taste. They only had bigger plastic squeeze bottles left. We paid 19 ringgit for a small glass jar of wild honey. Prices were cheaper than Australian give honey. The guide told us quite a lot about the native bees. See more..
