  1. 4.5 Deer Cave (236 reviews)
    - Wow! the word impressive doesn’t even come close
Spent More than 3 hours Caverns & Caves
    Deer Cave image
The ginormous size of Deer Cave cannot be explained and can only be appreciated in person. I was told how massive it is, yet I didn’t comprehend until walk inside the entrance mouth of the cave. The walk to Deer Cave alone was stunning admiring the forest, then walking around the cave was beautiful. Be sure to be there in the afternoon for the bat exodus which is mind blowing. Watching the millions of bats fly out of the cave in a smoke formation was one of the best natural experiences I’ve witnessed in my life. Cannot highly recommend Deer Cave enough. See more..

    The Pinnacles Trail image
Will say a must visit in Borneo. Awesome rain forest trail. Consist of 9km flat trail consist of 2 suspension bridge, 2nd suspension bridge marked half of the journey (4.5km). Leeches found on the trail. Camp5 sited next to freezing cold rive with awesome mountain cliff as backdrop. 2.4km hike to 1.2km height is tough due to sharp edge's stones and steep hill. The final hike consist of ladders, some are 90 degree climb without any safety rope (extra precautions needed). At the end rewarded with sharp Pinnacle structure (like the photo behind 100 Malaysia ringgit note). Descent is even harder, took longer time. Daily afternoon rain shower is expected during wet season of Borneo. Slightly above average fitness are required. See more..

worth a trip to see and definitely worth the price of admission. be sure to go early in the morning so it's not too hot. bring a towel so you can wipe sweat off. hike takes about 30-45m in and can be arranged so that you do the skywalk in the morning, then go have lunch at the park cafe... and continue in the afternoon to Deer and Lang caves, followed by the bat viewing around 530p. See more..

    - Nice beginner/intermediate underworld trip!

    Racer Cave Tour image
The Racer Cave tour is an adventure caving tour suitable for beginners. It's an around 3 hour trip into the dark depths of the Racer Cave and back (on the same way). At some points inside the cave you will need to climb on fixed ropes and there is also a little squeeze which might get problematic for very voluminous persons. If you are lucky you will be able to see Racer Snakes inside the cave. The tour costs 160 ringgit per person, all equipment included (helmet, headlamp, harness). After completing this trip successfully you are qualified for the advanced Clearwater Connection caving tour which is the caving highlight of the Mulu National Park. See more..

    Gunung Mulu Summit Trek image
Did the 4D3N Mt Mulu trek in Mid May. It was a strenuous but generally safe trek. i would like to express my heartfelt thanks to my guide Mr. Christian and our porter (a very young man in his 20s) for making the trek possible and enjoyable for us. Christian who speaks excellent English is a very experienced guide and possesses a wealth of knowledge about the history, culture, flora and fauna of the area. He took great care of us during the hike, making sure that we were sound and good throughout the hike. Ask for Christian to be your personal guide if you happen to visit the national park! See more..
