   I took a walk from Tumbina Zoo to Tg Batu in the evening - less than 10 min. I'd recommend this for tourists because there's a very unique feature when you walk this way. The first thing you come across would be some nice seats and a path leading right down to the beach. And from here, you can walk about 200m along the beach to the start of another path leading up to the park...so cool. By the time I finished admiring the sunset, it was getting dark. There are some seats on high ground to enjoy the cool wind and the waves ... and when you get hungry, just walk to the food centre to get some food and drinks. The only regret is that I could not walk the sandy strip leading to the breakwater as it was rather dark. I took a Grab back to the hotel. See more..

   It was my first time visiting this centre and I can say that the place is clean and comfortable. There are a lot of games we can try. In order to play the game, you will need to view the value of token needed near the insert token slot. The token can be collected from the counter near the entrance with price Rm1 per token.    The Pakat Global Sports Center next to the Medan Selera at Jalan Sultan Iskandar Bintulu is sure an attraction with the new management. I was there a couple of nights ago and the after office crowd was there. On weekdays the crowd started the futsal around 7 pm with different teams taking the court for at least one hour. In between the futsal some of the players got into table tennis. The management mentioned that they are going to add a pool/snooker table soon. There were also players that came with their family. All because of the food court next door. What a good place...the sports center for health and fun....and the food court for meals and drinks. See more..

   The park is opened to public but all the trails, except the view point trail, are closed because the bridge is under repair. Entrance fees of RM20 per person for non-malaysians. There is no food or drink stall so bring your own food and drinks. Wear long sleeve shirt and long pants as there are many mosquitoes. We were warned of crocodiles in the area so strictly no swimming at the beach. The accommodations (hostal and lodge) are not available for booking so only day trip is possible. See more..

There are food sections (sushi king, marry brown, secret recipe, easy drink easy go, etc), clothing sections, drugstores (watson and guardian), and outlets that provide dessert so it’s a mall that can be a good place to chill.     Surprisingly it was free entrance. I would recommend this place to families with kids. The main attraction for my kids was the tiger but the lion statue on top of the enclosure is very misleading. Should have replaced it with a tiger statue. The path going up to the enclosure needs to be cemented as it's slippery. Need more toilets. Lack of signage to show where the animals were. Should have more animals such as monkeys, monitor lizards, bats, can even add some farm animals to make it more interesting. Can also add a mini museum/gallery for educational purpose. It's a very good visit tho'. Hope that the management will keep up the good work. Thumbs up to their effort. See more..

    Rate : 4 for Service I stopped to eat at the Food court with my brother. I am very upset with this service. My brother ordered a coconut water drink and when it arrived at our dining table, the coconut water broke and we asked for it to be replaced but the workers there only gave us plastic glass. The water in the coconut was running out. I hope things like this don't happen again. The customer should come first. The food we ordered, steamed chicken rice, was very satisfying. See more..
