    Tabiat Bridge image
Not so old, the bridge and its open walking space with restaurants and resorts is probably the best place to see a different and less represented image of middle class Iranians, particularly the newer generations. In Iranian national vacations there is a chance to see Iranians from every corner of the country, in normal days, there are always and traditional tea houses, some of which are really good, but the portion of average fast foods probably higher than the other shops. If by chance weather is good and the air pollution level is not that high (which is rare) the view to northern Tehran Alborz mountain is absolutely beautiful, breathtaking indeed. See more..

  19. 4.5 Cinema Museum (115 reviews)
    - sensational museum, beautiful grounds
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Speciality Museums
    Cinema Museum image
Tehran's Cinema Museum is one of the best of its kind in the world, on a par with similar institutions in Paris and Berlin, and absolutely essential for lovers of world cinema. Even for those already familiar with Iranian film, the breadth and depth of the country's achievement comes a revelation. Initial galleries chronicle the birth of the national movie tradition in the waning days of the Qajar dynasty, while other displays pay tribute to each of the key departments in the making of a film. A hall given over entirely to housing the awards won by Iranian filmmakers at international festivals is especially impressive. The museum is housed in a lovingly restored 19th-century mansion set in a lovely, quiet park in north Tehran that doubles as a lively retreat for the city's young arts community, who congregate at the popular coffee bar. An in-house theatre regularly screens both classics and new releases. See more..

Probably the best park in Tehran, pretty modern and humongous. There are a lot of work of art in the park such as monuments, chairs and etc. which is lovely. The place is crowded, but as mentioned humongous, so there is plenty if room for everyone. Plenty of food as well!! There are a lot of restaurants in the park, almost at every corner, serving a big variety of quality food. Also there is a playground for children too. P.S: despite the name of the park meaning "water and flames", there is only running water in the park, no flames(due to pollution it caused). See more..

Before you get to the arches though there is a covered excavation area of the holy Zoroastrian Fire Temple. You can see the ancient stone work and hall ways and rooms. Its very cheap tickets to get to this Fire Temple. Go either toward the end of the day or beginning of the day. Its a very hot place, especially in the summer time. See more..
