Insight into the Iran-Iraq war from Iranian point of view
Very interesting museum about Islamic revolution and following Iraq-Iran war. Completely modern full of current technology to give you insight in to the war and feelings of common people of Iran during that time. Main museum is divided in to the seven halls each dedicated to some part of war mainly focused on emotional part (Martyrs, Outcome, Victory, ...). It is very nicely done and prepare, not everything has English translations but if you want you will get English guide (it will take about 90 minutes to walk through). It good to have in mind, that it is from Iranian point of view ;-) Entrance fee was 380 000 rials. I am not sure about opening hours as on website and ticket was completely different information. I visited museum on Saturday at 9am (almost nobody else was there). Park around a museum was still a little bit under construction, but still very nice and pleasant to walk. It is full of Iranin army machinery. Other side of museum has park with very huge flag of Iran and Shrine of unknown soldiers. There is huge dome in park with simulation of war zone. Be aware that entry was every full hour.
