We ordered a tour with Shahin to visit Galin village. This is non-touristy village - not like Palangan or Hawraman. This village was incredible - we had chat with the locals, ate delicious food and so on! Shahin is incredible, he is super knowledgable and friendly, He met us near the bus in Sanandaj, took us to his home and allowed to stay overnight. Than he took us to the village by car and spent a night with us! I highly reccomend Shahin and kurdistan as a top tourist destinantion in Iran! See more..

Shalmash Waterfalls consist of three huge consecutive waterfalls near Iraqi border on the outskirts of Sardasht, a small town in West Azerbaijan Province in Iran. The people in Sardasht are predominantly Kurd and speak Kurdish. The waterfalls are a 15-minute drive from Sardasht and are great fun to see. The best time of the year to visit these waterfalls is May or June, although I (an Iranian) have visited them in September. There are stairways, which provide you with a better front view of the waterfalls. I've taken some pictures there, which I'll submit so that everyone can see the beauty of these waterfalls. I think these waterfalls are worth a trip to Iran! See more..

Qam Chqay or Qomchoqay is an ancient castle and a beautiful valley( The king's valley) located in Bijar protected area near the Qomchogay village, Bijar city, Kurdistan province, Iran. I may be belongs to the 3rd millennium BC. The visit may take more than four hours(if you hike there). There are two ways to access it from the village, one by an almost two hours of a beautiful hike through the valley and the other is to get to the top by a dirt road which you may drive or walk. As it is in the protected wild area there is only possible to visit there in early spring( early may or before is fine). I like the valley way which you hike up to the top and you cross water for several time that can also be enjoyable. At the end of way when you reach the castle you have to use some rock climbing also, so consider this if you are willing to take the valley way. I also have to say that sandals will be very helpful. Check the weather forecast to bring proper coverage. Remember to take your water and something to eat because there is no shop there, which is one of the things I love about this place. Do not forget your cameras at any costs :) . I had a very great experience in this place which I recommend it to others. See more..

What i like about these bridge is that in the recent years it becomes a home for the migratory. you may enjoy it's architecture or go bird watching around it.
