   Shirez canyon is a wonderful, exceptional, scenic canyon located at Lorestan province, Iran. The most interesting thing about the canyon is the geologic formation and terraces which have created spectacular views. If you're going to experience a phenomenal day just go and visit the canyon. Do not forget to pick up your camera, your water shoe or sandals to cross the water, good sport shoes, your sunglasses, mineral water, something to eat and finally smile on your face.    After a long trek from Aligudarz (nearly 6 hours for us), we reached the lake through rocky hills and mountains. Gahar was hidden away in a valley, so serene and beautiful. We camped there for two nights and three days and it was one of the best experiences we had in Iran...such beautiful scenery...don't hesitate to travel to Lorestan if you're up for a moderately difficult trek :) See more..
