- 5.0 Hare Krishna Golden Temple (46 reviews)
-Feed The Soul Visit Hare Krishna Golden Temple
Friday: 7:15 AM - 12:15 PM, 5:15 PM - 8:15 PM Spent More than 3 hours Religious Sites
The Majestic Hare Krishna Golden Temple is the 1st Golden Temple in Telangana and this Transcendental temple of the Lord has 50 ft Golden Dhwaja Stambh, 4600 sqft Maha Mandapam and 5 golden stairs Rajagopuram. About 700 years back the Lord manifested himself as Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Road No. 12 Banjara Hills. Along with Lord Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, Lord Shiva also self manifested himself as Swayambhu Sri Panchajanyeshwara Swamy at the same place. The uniqueness of Lord's manifestation at this place is that the Lord and his eternal consort Sri Lakshmi Devi are in a self-manifest standing posture where Lord Narasimhadev appears in a blissful divine state and Mother Lakshmi Devi is mercifully showing her Abhaya Hastha and blessing all the Devotees. The Temple has a rare Saligrama (Shaligrama or Salagrama) shila kept in the Garbhalayam of the presiding deity Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. See more..
- 4.5 Golconda Fort (4.455 reviews)
-Amazing
Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Historic Sites • Castles
We were in Hyderabad for work but I was taken with colleagues to the Fort so I could see some of Hyderabad not just do work. The old (800+ years old) decorative carving showing the connection to what is now called Iran was incredible. There are several locations that have perfect acoustics - experiencing them is the only way to give it justice as words fail. For example there is a spot where if you clap you can hear an echo but walk two steps away from that spot and there is no echo. The age of the Fort is comparable to the early Norman kings of England - I had no idea that buildings like this existed in India that far back. There is a lot to see, and a lot to climb - depending on how adventurous you are you could climb to the top mosque. Alas there is a entry fee for Indians and a much higher fee for foreigners...... -Fabulous stay!!
Friday: Architectural Buildings
I am sure what I have to say about this beautiful hotel is no different than what has been said before. The outstanding service by all the staff, the warm welcome provided from the first gate, and all the thoughtful gestures provided throughout our stay. I would like to thank Mr Nasir the restaurant manager who made sure we enjoyed our meals, provided suggestions to help us better enjoy the local cuisines, and followed through with all our requests. We loved the informative palace tour by the in-house historian, the beautiful live music in the evenings, and appreciated how clean, quiet and fragrant everything was. We really appreciated that the staff offered to escort you around the premise if you are not sure of the way, since this is quite a large property. Taj service as always, is wonderful. I definitely recommend the hotel to everyone. See more..

-National park in midst of Concrete jungle
National Parks
The well maintained national park has two walking trails- One inside the park for which you pay a fee and one outside which is free. The walking trail outside the park boundary is better and longer. It passes through well landscaped hilly terrain and well maintained rock scapes. I have always preferred walking outside because the trail inside tends to get too crowded and is too small. See more..

Outstanding piece of architecture and scuplture .A World Heritage Site. The temple top structure is made of floating stones (light weight) the technology for which was available in India 800 years back !! It was patented by swedish in modern era only in 1929!! Detailed 3D sculpture was amazing ...from smallest size to very big statues. Unfortunately neither the local or central govts provided proper access to the place from nearest rail head Warangal(60 km ). We came across this wonderful tuk tuk/auto driver (Mahender Ph: 9440406453) who drove us on a very decent road and back to Warangal .It was very smooth enjoyable 2hr30min ride (each way) with stops for eating fresh corn on fire and drinking coconut water on the way !!The weather in Aug was quiet pleasant (did not rain). - 4.0 Charminar (4.294 reviews) from $62.58
-Colourful and full of action
Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Religious Sites • Monuments & Statues
What a place! This is a must visit for anyone in the city and the colours and atmosphere in an evening are superb. I’m reliably informed that weekends are particularly busy, and given the number of people on the mid-week day I visited I’d encourage to avoid too, but it’s well worth battling the crowds to get into the centre of the action. There’s so many market sellers although none are too pushy, live performances and a generally friendly vibe. The history is great, so many good photo opportunities and a real insight into the local culture. Highly recommended! See more..

- 4.0 Nehru Zoological Park (1.259 reviews)
-Must visit these beautiful creatures
Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Zoos
The Nehru Zoological Park could be better organised. Outside the main gate it is a bit too chaotic and noisy and dusty with broken roads but that's Hyderabad. The zoo could have done with more logical signposts to different enclosures so that we don't miss a single creature. The safari rides last 15 minutes but give you a good look at lions, tigers, bisons. Lots of schoolkids on their school-organised visits lend to the nice feel of the place. Most commonly known wild animals are here. Must visit. See more..

Fees for cameras are a steep Rs. 1000 but you can take pictures with your mobile for free! You get to spend ten minutes here before the boat takes you back to the park. See more..
