    Wanted to see Naya Raipur which is around 10 kms from Vivekanand Airport Raipur. We could see government buildings under construction.Our driver took us to Muktangan park which was amazing.     The museum is small but good . It has 3 floors ground floor, first floor and the second floor . The museum was opened by Dr Rajendra Prasad the first President of India in 1953 . I visited the museum on December 11th 2022 . In the floor there is a map of Chhattisgarh that tells you about the location of famous temple there are pictures of temples .In the second floor there were weapons of tribals and statues of animals with real skins.     When our relatives came from Chennai, we took them to Jagannath temple in Sector 4. The temple has a great history. It was located in a village known as Boria. When the steel plant expanded, People living in this village who were employees of the plant were relocated. The company had built houses for them in different sectors. these houses came to be known as Boria type houses. The temple had to be relocated from Boria. So, the management of Bhilai Steel Plant allotted an alternative place in Sector 4. It took a long time to build the temple at the new location. It has been built with small contributions made by its devotees. Since the project activity had to start, Lord Balabhadra, Lord Jagannath and Goddess Subhadra were shifted from the temple in Boria and kept in a make-shift arrangement till the temple was built.     I had no idea of who are the guys, this temple / place was built around, it is new since the guy, who was definitely enlightened person while died in ~2000 (?) But the place feels like HOLY PLACE, so we really liked it and wanted to stay longer, but had to ride back. This place is not for everyone. Like if you strict christian, jewish or muslim, it is definitely NOT for you. If you looking for old beautiful statues and buildings - it also not for you. The sculptures are childish-looking, but they're done in devotion and love. This place could bring you the essence of modern indian beliefs - all of them are live, their gods are alive and when you enter such sort places, and have a sence of this kind, you'll definitely feel it too.     The Bara Kaman is the unfinished mausoleum of the Adil Shahi King, Ali Adil Shah II. The building is raised about 5 metres above the ground and on the platform of the building are arches that I guess where intended to be the supporting structures of the unfinished parts of the building. In the centre of the building are tombs of Ali Adil Shah II and his wives. The arches are pretty, but really there’s not much to see. My hotel was practically next to this, so it was not a great effort to visit. I wouldn’t go out of the way to see this unless you have time. See more..

    The Chhattisgarg City Centre is not as big as the Magneto Mall but its central location in the city makes it attracting many visitors daily.We visit this mall everytime we go to Raipur and find it quite happening everytime. Last time when we visited in November 2012 just after Diwali,we loved the handicraft emporium on the 1st floor.The Big Bazaar in the basement and the Dominoz on 1st floor are also very useful. The haunted house on top floor isnt very big but the 5-D show is really enjoyable.This mall has a Cinemax Multiplex where we have watched atleast 3-4 movies in last 1 and half years.there is also a small play area with small rides for children just in front of the main gate of the mall.The only thing which needs improvement is that food plaza as it has limited varieties.     This mosque is situated at about 1.5 to 2 kms from Gol Gumbaz. Walk straight from the exit of Gol Gumbaz. Once you reach a junction (T junction) take right and you will find this mosque on your left side . One may have to walk about 20 minutes from Gol Gumbaz to this mosque. We can enter the mosque premises with footwear but before entering the place where mihrab is there we have to remove the footwear . There is no proper place to keep footwear inside the mosque . I reached this mosque during evening prayer time . Even during prayer time visitors can enter the mosque.i think the best time to visit this mosque is during evening prayer time.
