A long felt wish was fulfilled by visiting this holy temple in Panchkula. One of the Shakthi peetams. We as a family with old people opted to go to the Shrine using the lift. To access to the entry using lift is slightly a different way. It is a free service (using lift). Generally, people walking to the temple in an adjacent route, but if you ask for the way to use the lift service, they will guide you. Very neatly maintained temple. Mata welcomes you with a serene smile. Just before the sanctum sanctorum don't miss to see the various forms of Mata painted on the roof of the wall. There was no crowd when we visited. There are shrines for Lord Shiva, Ganesh and Anjaneya. I heard that they serve free food daily for the devotees and the temple is also kept open from morning till evening. It is a huge sarovar which means a water body. It gives a description of the mahabharata fight on the pillars of the sarovar. There is a huge bronze chariot where lord Krishna is giving gita gyan to arjuna and this has been installed at the middle of the sarovar and this is simply magnificent. Along the bronze chariot there are various temples of god and goddess. As I went on a amavasya day, it is customary to have a dip at the sarovar to get rid of your sins. Pl go in the evening or early morning as it becomes very difficult to walk in the hot season. Except for the bronze chariot and the huge water body there is nothing much to see there. The govt should have battery cars to enable people to go around the sarovar as it takes nearly one to two hours on foot. This is the most prominent place to see at kurukshetra after shri devikoop bhadrakali temple which is a shaktipeeth. See more..

There is no entry fee but its open only during the morning and evening. The park is popular among joggers but it also offers some amazing views of gurugram city from the top of its small hills. Wild bushes and trees line the walkway. There's an auditorium for events. I had the pleasure of attending a musical festival in the evening once. Sunsets are absolutely stunning. Aravali biodiversity park is a good place to be if you're looking for a fun outdoor,close to the nature experience. If you are in gurugram you should definitely check it out. The men at the Museum/Loco Shed are so welcoming and passionate and shared their wealth of information with us. There is a video about the renovation and steam trains, very interesting, please watch. They show you around the steam trains and give fabulous snippets of info about them, there is also a special carriage with a renovated restaurant car for Edward, Prince of Wales, built in 1921.
