We visited Zara Store at Elante Mall on 16 Jan 2022. It had a humungous variety to offer, both for men & women. My better half laid her hands on many stuff. The Mall has a humungous food court on top floor, with variety of cuisines to offer. Apart from that there many restaurants & bars where you can enjoy your meals with friends & family.     I visited on a Sunday, so knew I wouldn't be able to see inside, but only three of us were on the 10am tour and it was quite special to visit these buildings and have the place to ourselves! Sadly the Secretariat was not included, but got up close to the courts, assembly, the hand and the shadow tower. Nice to see that the plaza has been tidied up, but sadly the pools of water are now no longer used so the classic photos can't be reproduced! I would recommend emailing and confirming your time slot if you are in Chandigarh on a tight timetable as they tried to say my 10am was cancelled despite having written confirmation only a fortnight before. Thankfully this was enough to persuade them to run the 10am! It is an easy 30-40 minute walk from Sector 17 which I would recommend to get the context, and another 30 minute walk to the gardens and the city architecture museum which are well worth including in your visit here.     It is huge shopping area with wide roads; lots of space for car parking, ofcourse a paid parking of Rs.30/- for a single entry. ( I meant parking fee not charged on hourly basis). There are autos for free to commute within the market; such a huge market. Both low end to high end shopping shall be done. Open on all days. Many eateries are there. Shops for Western outfits, salwar suits, winter clothings, shoes, gift items, attractive stoles, clutches, etc..... A full day shall be spent leisurely.
