  1. 5.0 Dive India (384 reviews)
    - this could be the start of a beautiful friendship
    Scuba & Snorkelling
    Dive India image
Without a doubt the best location, and service, in India to learn to dive. I first visited in 2012 with my family, including young children and non-divers, and they had as magical a time as I did. Great family atmosphere, excellent facilities, comfort and service. Beautiful location. The diving itself is spectacular - this is part of the same island chain that goes all the way south to the Similans and Phuket, and has similar underwater ecosystems and species, but the experience here is less crowded, the water is clearer and the experience more memorable. Most importantly, the team at DIVE India will invite you to join an extended family of divers, based in India and around the world, for the chance to join exclusive, great value dive trips through DIVE India Outbound, as far afield as Mozambique, Egypt and the Galapagos. I've trusted these guys since 2012 to guide me through the world of diving, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. See more..
  2. 5.0 Gypsy Divers Dive Resort (314 reviews)
    - Everything I could ask for and more
Thursday: 5:00 AM - 7:30 PM Scuba & Snorkelling • Water Sports • Boat Rentals
    Gypsy Divers Dive Resort image
I did two scuba certifications from gypsy divers and stayed with them for a part of my duration in havelock. I can say without a doubt in my mind that this is the place to be in havelock. Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating. A community formed very naturally out of the divers learning and diving at the resort and that elevated my experience to a whole other level. We celebrated diwali together and would usually spend the day hanging out discussing travel destinations and life stories in the cafe area. As far as the instruction for diving is concerned, I am very happy about the fact that Rohan ( my instructor ) made me a diver and not a student of these courses I took. As I got more comfortable and skilled, it really felt like I was diving with a buddy not just a teacher. Even in dives that had learning objectives, we always went exploring before or after making the courses extremely enjoyable throughout. 10/10 would visit again. ❤️ See more..

Truly professional, the quality of the equipments used, the clarity in giving instructions to us, the facilities provided, the value of time dedicated to our dive under water, the quality of the videos n pics taken every thing was absolutely excellent n superb. . V ware 5 of us , only 2 of us decided to do dive with Bare foot for 8.5 thousand n rest of them decided to do dive else where costing 2.5 thousand. In the end v were truly truly satisfied that v chose Bare foot 8.5 k over the other cheaper ones. Thank u Bare Foot. This was our best experience in our life. Me and my wife did boat dive separately, a female scuba diver assisted my wife , this I feel not all scuba diving point ll provide. My wife was very scared of water n refused to dive, but after the dive, her expression said it all. It was indeed her best experience of life. I was really happy for choosing Bare foot for this. Captain Hook’s image
We booked a half day trip with Captain Hooks to try our hands at sports fishing for the first time. Needless to say, we weren't disappointed. With the Captain skillfully navigating through the channels, chasing fish across reefs to actually teaching my son and I, various fishing techniques, the thrill of it was beyond expectations. We were also provided lunch and plentiful refreshments throughout the trip. Towards the end of the trip we stopped at a beautiful reef for snorkeling before heading back to the Havelock Jetty. A sincere thanks to the team at captain hook's for making our first father-son fishing trip a memorable one. I would recommend everyone be it families, groups of friends or even couples to take a trip with them. It was the highlight of our trip and it can be yours too! See more..

This was my second boat dive from Ocean Tribe itself. They are absolute professionals with quality instruments and expert divers. They showed me what was possible to see and the experience was exactly same. They only do Boat Dives as there is hardly anything visible in shore dive. Locals at Havelock told me, they are among the top three. See more..

  8. 5.0 Ross and Smith Island (94 reviews)
    - Untouched islands connected by a Sandbar !
    Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Islands
    Ross and Smith Island image
Ross & Smith are twin islands located in North Andaman along Aerial Bay. These are 2 independent islands connected with a sand bar. During high tide, the sandbar gets submerged to create the illusion of 2 separate islands. Low tide reveals the sand bar that connects them. The aerial bay side has lighter colored water vs the Andaman Sea side, which has stark blue water! These islands are relatively untouched. There are no restaurants at these islands so one must carry their own water/food. Smith Island has shacks to rest, along with toilets. Locals sometimes have a picnic here. Ross island requires a Rs.75 permit to visit. There are Deer that roam around the island. From aerial bay jetty, a boat costs Rs.5500 for upto 4 people ( if 1 individual goes, the cost will be the same ) Must visit place in the Diglipur area. ( Diglipur can be reached be ferry or by taxi/bus from Port Blair) See more..

If you wish to own your moment, if you wish to live for your moment and if you wish to create your moment, THIS is the place you wanna be at! Lovely experience diving with Gaurav and his oh-so-fabulous team. My husband and I did our open water basic and advanced certification and Gaurav was the best thing that could have happened to us! He made sure our learning experience was worthy! Every silliest of doubt I had was soooo calmly answered by Gaurav ,every minutest detail I hoped to remember was so precisely carved into this beautiful experience underwater by them! The underwater has a lot to say, and these guys make sure you get to listen to what the beautiful corals and marine life have to say to u! The small bits and pieces of surprises it offers is what makes your experience worth it! Thankyou Gaurav and the entire scuba yogi team for making this soooo memorable for us. Only if we had more words to describe how inspired we feel to explore this beautiful world yet again! See more..

  12. 4.5 Radhanagar Beach (4.379 reviews)
    - Awesome experience- Beautiful, Clean Beach
Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:45 PM Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
    Radhanagar Beach image
This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. On one side is the ocean and on the other, there is a forested area. The best part of the beach is that it is extremely clean and well-maintained. The sunrises and sunsets are the best. Some tips: 1) Check the sunrise and sunset time for whichever month you go there. 2) Reach at least 15- 30 minutes beforehand, 3) Carry a picnic blanket to sit on. 4)The authorities are very strict. No swimming in the sea or entering the sea is allowed after 7 pm. So, if you want to enjoy the waves for a while, go early. If you keep walking along the beach, after a km or so, you will find Neil's cove. Here, there is a rocky cliff sort of structure that looks amazing (see in the image). Perfect place to take lots of photos. If you are going to Havelock island, the sunset at Radha Nagar beach is a must-see and should not be missed. See more..

  14. 4.5 Ross Island (1.820 reviews)
    - Historical island with great views!
    Thursday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Islands
    Ross Island image
Ross Island was the first 'Kala Pani' jail to be built ( before Cellular jail in port blair) and displays the ruins of the British establishment. A 20 min boat ride from the Aberdeen Jetty gets you to Ross Island. As you approach, the water is a bright blue color ! Easier way to explore the island is through shared rickshaws for Rs.60 It takes you around the island, while the driver explains the history of the the various buildings, bungalows, jails, quarters etc. The top of the island leads to a stairway towards the lighthouse on the island. ( best pics can be taken here) Deer roam around the island and one can get up close and personal ( although the Deer are not friendly when one gets too close) There is a restaurant that is sometimes operational. The entire excursion is for ~ 2-2.5 hours, and is a must visit in Port Blair! See more..
  15. 4.5 Elephant Beach (1.747 reviews)
    - Crystal clear azure waters amazing for watching live coral reefs and other marine life so close to the shore.
    Thursday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Beaches
    Elephant Beach image
Amazed to find such crystal water and coral reefs intact inspite of so many water sports going on above them! Not for long I fear No doubt tourism generates a lot of employment in the industry bereft region but at what cost!! The government should restrict the number of visitors per day. All boats must be electric. Only snorkeling and glass bottom boats and scuba should be allowed. I see absolutely no reason for allowing jet ski, parasailing and all inflatable rides over the reefs. The smell and noise of motor boats used to ferry tourists here and also for all these rides is just unbelievable! Garbage bins overflow. More trash bins or frequent collection needed. Swachh Bharat?? 16. 4.5 Jolly Buoy Island (732 reviews)
    - A must do activity once in a lifetime
    Thursday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Islands
    Jolly Buoy Island image
Although the trip is a bit longish due to the slow boat which takes you to the island however, the glass bottom ride is just awesome. Do not hesitate to spend the 1000 Rs for the full 1 hour view, it is worth it. For the information of everyone- they give a 10 mins complimentary glass bottom ride on this trip (they say its 15 mins but its actually just a teaser). they then have options- 300Rs for additional 15 mins, 600 Rs for half hour and 1000 Rs for full 1 hour covering 15 different types of marine life. A must go activity I must say the view is very clear. See more..

    - Beautiful beach of asia

    Laxmanpur Beach image
Long stretches of white sand, turquoise blue crystal waters and lush green forest. The beach No. 1 is postcard perfect with old fallen trees being slowly washed away by the waves. Swimming is best at high tide, but also possible during low tide. Take care of the corals and few rocks underneath the water surface. The beach No. 1 offers the best snorkelling points on the islands with colourful fish and some corals. If lucky there is a high chance to spot a dugong (sea cow) feeding on sea grass. #bestbeach See more..

  24. 4.5 Doongi Dives (63 reviews)
    - Awesome first time diving experience
    Scuba & Snorkelling
    Doongi Dives image
It was our first dive and Nikhil and his team comprising Amit, Nirmal and Santosh made it a fantastic experience for us. Its a 'Must Do' activity in Havelock. One doesn't need to be a swimmer to experience the dive. All you have to do is 'breathe' and the instructors will take care of the rest. Although the diving happens throughout the day, but the best time is to take the 8 AM slot as the water is cool and you get to see more of marine life. The pricing is decent and includes photography and videography of your dive. The guy who was handling the camera forgot to make our video, but Nikhil was gracious enough to offer us a free dive for the videography. Overall a fantastic experience. Would love to do it again. 25. 4.5 Aqua Nomad (60 reviews)
    - Great staff, excellent boat, beautiful dive sites, safe
    Thursday: 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling
    Aqua Nomad image
First of all, Aqua Nomad has a super fast speed boat that gets you way out the the deep dive sites fast and comfortably. This is a big deal. My husband and I were able to do 4 dives out at Dixon's Pinnacle, Johnny's Gorge, and Minerva's Ledge. The first two are advanced deep dives and they are beautiful healthy reefs with amazing marine life. In January the waves and current were intense so I was happy to be on a speed boat with a dive shop that goes to these sites all the time and knows how to handle the conditions. We had 3 divers to 1 divemaster ratio. Our divemaster Rishab (spelling?) was friendly, knowledgeable, and safe. If you are a certified diver, and especially if you are an advanced open water certified diver, I highly recommend you choose to dive with Aqua Nomad. See more..

    - Good, but can be skipped
Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
    Govind Nagar Beach image
This is a pretty rocky beach. Our resort was on this beach, similar to many other that are there. It's a peaceful place, but a bit difficult to go in water. Also, water level keeps changing. Sometimes you will see a lot of water, and other times less. There must be a science to it. You can skip this beach if your resort is not there, you will not miss anything. See more..

A totally different beach experience when you travel by the side of the sea, through hilly ccurves covered with tropical rainforest. There is a zoo in Chiriya tapu and I will recommend to visit it as you travel through dense forest and then see some rare, endemic bird species and crocodiles and other local animals. Then go forward to Munda pahar beach for which you have to cross a hill and will find a beautiful tidal flat, surrounded by green hills, red with Twilight colour. For the transportation during our whole 7 days trip, we contacted Sadai Tour and Travels (+91 9933202151/ +91 9531918600). They have provided best of service. Mr. Gopal, personally took our requests and arranged comfortable car and very good drivers in reasonable price. He suggested us to visit Chidiya Tapu and it came out as a hidden jem. See more..
