   I was with a group of people who were visiting Zhengzhou for the first time and this is a logical place to take them. While Zhengzhou is a large city, Erqi Tower and the surrounding streets/shops are like the central hub of the city. The tower itself is nothing really special but is a nice landmark for the city. We went on a Wednesday night and it was filled with people. It did remind me of Times Square in New York. Around the Tower are a dizzying array of shops and bustling activity. There were also loud, continuous announcements from shops and bright lights that seemed to be competing with each other for who is the loudest or the brightest. This is really a place of sensory overload. Any street you go down though, you can find a shop or restaurant for just about any sort of taste or budget. A fun place to go but maybe only for a couple of hours. Others may be able to take the sensory overload for longer than I did! See more..

   What's left of the Shang-period walls surrounding the ancient city of Zhengzhou are interesting to walk along, primarily because you are walking on such old history. A section of the wall is fenced off so you can easily visualize what it might have looked like when it was 30 meters tall. It was interesting to look down on old building courtyards to see people practicing Tai Chia, students playing basketball, gaze at old temples, and imagine... I would not make a special trip to Zhengzhou just to see the walls, but if coupled with a visit to other sights, like the Henan Museum, it's worth a short stop. Access to the walls is a steep dirt path, not something to do if i has rained recently. See more..

    Nothing really good or bad about this place. The mausoleum itself is simple and spacious. There's a temple inside. You need to buy the incense. After that, be careful, the merchant would try to sell you a lot of stuffs. She would said that these are for your family's wishes/ protection/ prosperity etc. Then in the end, it comes with a price tag. An expensive one. You need to take an electric car (separate fee) to the tomb itself. Well, just to the entrance actually. The walk/climb up to the tomb takes around 15 minutes. Along the way, you'll meet some persistent vendors of little stuffs. If you're not interested, just completely ignore them. The tomb itself is quite simple. Totally not extravagant as I had imagined.     Using this observatory the Chinese managed to calculate the length of the day to within 12 seconds of the value we know today. Unfortunately on the day we went, air pollution prevented us from getting a shadow. There are marks from 2nd World war Japanese shells fired at what they took to be a military observation post. We were the only people present on the day we went apart from our guide and the staff. Our guide said he only went here about once a year as it wasn't that popular. There is a second scale model which makes it slightly easier to understand what is going on. Remember that noon is when the sun is overhead and with all of China on a single timezone, the local noon might be somewhat different to what it says on your watch. It could stand improvement of the explanation with diagrams and more English text. Probably not suitable for small Children with a short attention span. Incidentally we found a scale model of this in the Beijing science museum. See more..

    来景区的时候就是看到宣传的资料，但是来了后发现并没有想象的那么好，水不是很多，而且水质也不好。虽然说是个历史悠久的景点，但是历史悠久的建筑倒是不多，很多的亭子小石桥都能看出来是新建不久的，跟真的文物建筑感觉并不相同。我觉得越是有历史，年代久远的景区越是要收到有关单位的保护，这样才能让我们这些人看到自己想看的景色，又能保留下来这些宝贵的文物。 See more..

    Sadly it took us a long time to get there, very long walk, but no tourists at all. In China, people tend to go were the crowd goes, and the crowd gathers at the Shaolin temple... So the place was a bit mystical, very quite, with encens, old statues and temples. And e very nice view on the mountains. Very well worth the walk up there if you start to get fed up with the crowd.     There are at least 5 Mosques in the area covered by the address given. Even the Taxi driver laughed when I gave him the address and asked which do you mean. So we enjoyed a pleasant hour walking in a predominantly Muslim area seeking and eventually finding 3 of the 5. Each was different and the differences actually was the most interesting thing. From traditional Chinese styling, ( I have no idea how old), to circa 1970's green tiled facia with 2 charming and very helpful caretakers. I cannot give you any addresses as the search through a maze of back streets with helpful finger pointing in the right direction by locals did not include any obvious street signs.     The pagoda itself is about average, but my Very Good rating is based on a number of other attractions close to the pagoda, some of which are not listed yet on Trip Advisor. The pagoda was begun in the Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in 1177 during the Jin. Near the base of the pagoda is a group of petrified tree trunks. Nearby is a stone arch built in 1623 during the Ming, the Sino-Japanese Friendship Arboretum, ancient rammed-earth city wall, a temple, and the City Museum which so far is not listed on Trip Advisor. Not far away is a Warring States chariot burial tucked away in the midst of a residential neighborhood which almost no one knows about, and a few kilometers away is the world-class Guo State Tombs, Chariot Burial, and Museum. All these are photographed extensively and appear on my GaryLeeTodd.com website. There is also a swan lake nearby which, I believe, has been reviewed, and since I'm an expert on Chinese history and not waterfowl, I shall skip that attraction. The arch, museum, temple, wall, and peace garden are all a short walk from the pagoda and can all be easily viewed in a morning or afternoon. See more..

    昨天才从景区返回家中，因为去的时候是周四周五，所以人不是很多。伏牛山乐园这地方，其实山景没什么特别，主要是坐索道上下山，下山倒是有一段有个德国设计的滑道，挺刺激，收费是40元每人，主要能玩的还是滑雪滑冰。因为我们去的是夏季，所以只有室内的。地方算不上大，也没有滑道之分，就是一个大雪坡，会提供滑雪服跟雪板，不过人特别多的时候提供的这些东西都湿漉漉的，我的雪鞋里就是湿的。会先让到二楼去看一个很短的滑雪短片，教给你很基本的动作，如果你想学的快些，还要花银子请教练，100元每小时。不过个人觉得只要不怕摔，多滑一滑找找感觉，也不是那摩难。当然看着专业人士姿势优美的从身边划过，真的是心生羡慕呀~总的来说还算可以的滑雪场，毕竟是在中原地区，大概冬季的室外滑道会更刺激有趣些吧~ See more..

    My local relatives, my girlfriend and I visited there on Oct 02, 2017.Park was indeed small but not only the scenery was beautiful, but also facilities there were well equipped,inside on the foothill there was a hotel, a parking lot, a square,an open stage, and even a wine cellar(in the cave). We 6 people were charged an entry fee of ￥250 RMB total(50 per adult and 25 per child). Weather on the hill was awful that day, cold and humid. As we climbed higher, wind was getting much stronger, and not safe for us to go on to the top,so we took some pictures and went back.     This is an embryonic tourist attraction and I was told that planes are in place for a future interpretation centre which will be of a real benefit to the site. Currently the non-Chinese speaking visitor will have difficulty in assessing the site as there are simply some holes in the ground and a room with a very basic display of pottery fragments. I was fortunate in having two academics and the site is being excavated by Peking University. Contrary to my initial impression I became quite interested and realised the impirtance of the site to the Chinese as it is tangible evidence for the claim that it has a civilisation of 5,000 years. Pipework is visible (when drawn to one's attention) that show the use of water distribution to the houses. The 'cityy' wall is 13 metres across - but just looks like a grassy mound to the uninformed. It is thought that perhaps a 1,000 people residend in the area and it survived as a settlement for perhaps a 1,000 years, but no-one knows why it went into decline. I suspect other, more powerful dynasties emerged and wished to build their own bigger cities. My star rating was based on being privy to a guide, but I rather guess most people would not have that privilege and the site is still being excavated and as a place to visit rather rudimentary. But it is still worth marvelling at the pottery found and to admise the quality of things so old. See more..

    地図ソフトを頼りに辿り着いたのは官渡古寺。康熙帝が来た(ここに寄ったかどうか不明)時に碑を建てていったがそれもなくなり、その後も碑が建てられたが、それもなくなり、今は何も無いとのこと。
    民間のお寺だそうで、文革後の補修が進んでいるとの事。尼寺なのか？女性ばかりが働いており、比丘さんもいた。
