    河南的漯河有座石拱桥，建于隋朝，比同为隋朝修建的赵州桥还早21年，至今保存完好，那就是横跨在商河上的小商桥。小商桥长21.3米，宽6.45米，红砂岩石砌造，看上去质朴稳重。虽然小商桥没有赵州桥宏大秀美，也没有赵州桥那么多的神话传说，但小商桥是一座值得注意的古石拱桥。首先，小商桥早于赵州桥，再者是小商桥与赵州桥同为敞肩式结构，区别只是赵州桥每边的拱肩上是两个小拱，小商桥每边的拱肩上是一个小拱。以前我一直以为敞肩这种结构形式是赵州桥所创，现在看来我的想法错了。还有，在同一个时间段上，在两个相距近千里（490多公里）的地方，先后建造了结构形式相同的两座桥，如果不是同一拨人设计和组织建造，那就有可能是在隋朝初年敞肩式桥梁结构已经是一种普遍使用的桥梁形式。小商桥值得去看。
