Ideal place for a nice stroll . Unfortunately there are only a few directions available in English . I liked all the Chinese poems that were translated into English . The gardens are beautiful but all the ponds were frozen . I will go back in summer to see the lotus gardens and the fountains . There was a lot of people strolling around in the afternoon . The magnificent landscape is worth of a visiting. The park is free to visitors. On the way to the mountain top, you can enjoy local food and drinks. The local community also provide accommodations for visitors if you would like to stay there longer. It's better go there with friends or with local travell agency with cars or coaches since it is quite remote area, there is no public transport at this moment.See more..

The Luya Waterfalls was very close to our hotel. You can buy entrance tickets at the main gate then you can drive on in (it's another 2 km) to the scenic area. At that place there are small shops for water, ice cream, fish nets etc. Then there's one main trail to hike up. It's a mix of stairs and rock formation. It's not a difficult hike, just a lot of steps. It is quite pretty. We didn't have time to go all the way up unfortunately, but I heard there were more scenic areas up top.See more..
