A taxi costs you Rmb 16 from Luoyang Longmen station. It is very new and clean and well laid out. It's more on ancient China. Unfortunately the city itself has nothing to offer. There is storage cubicles for your luggage and a big bag can be accommodated. Currently, everything is free, including entry and luggage storage. The museum shop provided some shopping with good prices. We went in December so there was no crowd and it was relaxing and informative. Highly recommended if you have time. See more..

The museum has moved to a brand new location. A beautiful facility. Lots to see but we got there later in the day than we expected. There were also government officials on site and we were restricted from going to certain areas. What we saw though was very impressive. Would definitely recommend based on what we saw.See more..

The peace and tranquility here was amazing, I loved it, This is a very local place and and good place to visit if you want to see real traditions and culture from the craftsman hard at work to the detail on the roofs nothing was missed. The beautiful ponds full of Koi fish just happily swimming around the small temples structures. All the little allies lined with red lanterns and flags, Just beautiful. Oh and the ice-cream here is to die for I had passion fruit and lycée OMG I could have lived on it, just wish we could buy ice cream as good back here at home. So worth a visit. The food here on the stalls tended to be a lot more spicy that Northern parts of china, You would need to like our chillies.See more..
This is the actual place where Liu Shaoqi died. There is also upstairs a small exhibit on two other local generals who were persecuted during the infamous Cultural Revolution.See more..
This is the tomb and ancestral temple of a famous physician of the Eastern Han Dynasty (c. 200 AD). It's quite attractive and well-kept. Inside is a small museum of artifacts from the Eastern Han as well as medical artifacts. Nanyang, in southern Henan Province, is not a city that normally attracts a lot of foreign tourists, but if you go there, this temple and several other sites are worth spending an afternoon to visit. The other reason to visit Nanyang is its famous jade market.See more..

There are four museums in the park, one a relic showing many of the rare dinosaurs that once lived there and the main attraction is the fossil dinosaur eggs and the place they found many of them. 4.0Dengfeng History Museum(1 review) - A museum in an atmospheric local temple Spent < 1 hour History Museums Dengfeng History Museum is set inside the tranquil and very old-school Chenghuang Temple on Dongguan Street (a few minutes walk from the west / long distance bus station). The museum consists mainly of pictures and text, all in Chinese, in dim, dusty side halls. But the crumbling main temple hall is a reminder (after visiting more famous restored temples in the area) that your average Chinese temple probably would have been very simple indeed. Spending a few minutes there makes you feel like you've gone back in time. It's definitely not worth making a special trip, but if you're in Dengfeng anyway it's definitely worth a short visit!See more..
