-Beautiful Wall Murals and Designs
Saturday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent More than 3 hours Neighborhoods • Historic Walking Areas
Throughout the history of this Port City, the inhabitants saw the possibility of being located on this hill that was born as a fort to protect themselves from pirats and corsairs. When the port sector zone was almost completely occupied, the immigrants began to populate this hill with houses using the usual architecture of their countries, mainly European. That generated a cool sector of structures that are preserved until today, in a unique and magical, heritage and Chilean mix. The best viewpoints, miradors and alleys are here and in these streets the richest cultural activities converge, surrounded by the best gastronomy. Come and enjoy with us! This experience is unforgettable! See more..

-GREAT escape with a toddler
Gardens
I HIGHLY recommend a visit here, especially if you just want a quiet walk or want to have some play time with young children. It was absolutely worth the drive from the city. After seeing the reviews, we felt like we were taking a risk to go for the morning. But we LOVED it! The beautiful plants, water, floral smells, and well-maintained trails made for a great escape from the city for a few hours. There’s also an area that has a zip line that looked fantastic. We went with our two year old, so we weren’t there for that. But it looked fun! See more..
- 4.5 Viña Casas del Bosque (1.063 reviews)
-Beautiful
Spent 2-3 hours Wineries & Vineyards
Beautiful winery with elegant surroundings and well kept grounds. We had a lovely tour with kind and very knowledgeable Chris who also organised the wine maker for a day of experience with us. Outstanding wines presented to personally blend and taste against the backdrop of their natural environment provided an extra dimension to this excellent and unique experience. To able to create your own distinctive cuvée leaves a lovely and lasting impression. We completed the beautiful experience with a picnic in the vineyard. Enjoying the food and wine within the stillness of the vines and the caressing breeze was heavenly. Highly recommended See more..

Originally the home of the wealthy Délano family in the early 20th century, this impressive building was acquired by the local Municipal Authorities in 1985, and converted into a museum. Focus in two principal collections is a natural history department dedicated to Chile's native fauna and flora; and an archaeological department offering a permanent display related to the indigenous peoples of Northern Chile, the Aconcagua region and the Mapuche in the south of the country. The museum also houses one of the most important collections in the world related to Easter Island, including the only genuine Moai statue in the whole of continental Chile, outside in the museum garden. Points of Interest & Landmarks
Just getting to the entrance of this funicular is interesting. For next to nothing, you are rewarded with a fun ride to the promontory of the Yugoslavo Walk, an interesting neighborhood with an expansive view of the city and its harbor. We walked the nearby neighborhood really enjoying the street art but did not have enough time to visit the Art Museum nor maybe have a coffee at the little café overlooking the city. - 4.5 Bodegas RE (328 reviews)
-Amazing tasting
Wineries & Vineyards
This was our favourite winery in Casablanca and offers a great variety of tours and tastings. It’s best to email to get a full list of options/prices and we got a very quick response. The winery and large shop is very beautiful with many vintage fittings. Mario our guide spoke impeccable English and explained the history of the winery and its ethos with great enthusiasm. The tastings were superb with a focus on their unusual blends. The wine was of a very high quality and we would’ve bought a lot more bottles if we had room in our bags. It’s a boutique winery and a must do in the valley See more..

- 4.5 Ascensor Polanco (269 reviews)
-Didn't see all of the area due to warnings
Points of Interest & Landmarks
The tunnel was great, & good views from the top over the coloured houses on the nearby hills. View also showed that it was a poorer neighbourhood than the hills at the opposite end of the bay (Cerro Alegre etc). We wandered off to photograph the amazing street art but hadn't got all that far when an old lady leaned out her upstairs window & conveyed to us that we should go back & not proceed any further. Having heard a bit about this area, & being two older females we thought best we listen to the advice. Hadn't gone very far when a younger guy approached us & told us to be very careful with our cameras & phones & that we should go down to the bottom ASAP. Bit disappointing as the art was great (what we saw of it) but when the locals give warnings - we listen. See more..

- 4.5 Parque Nacional La Campana (231 reviews)
-Hike to Cerro La Campana - can be done in 6 hours!
National Parks • Nature & Wildlife Areas
We set off from Valparaíso on a Saturday morning when the metro only opens at 8.30. We got to the park (the Olmué entrance) at 10.30 and were told there was not enough time to reach the top of the mountain (Cerro La Campana), as you have to be back down by 17.30. Challenge accepted, we decided, and set ourselves a hard pace. We made it to the La Mina section in 1h30 (supposed to take 2h30) and then completed the much more difficult climb from there to the top in another 1h30 (this was supposed to take 2 hours). The final section is hard, especially if you gun it up the first 4km as we did. We stayed on the top for half an hour then made the descent in roughly the same time it had taken us to get up to the top. 6 hour round trip. We were later told that the park doesn't actually close at 17.30, but the park rangers like you to be down by then for safety reasons. You have to leave them your phone number so I suspect after 17.30 they just call you to check you're okay... We're both in reasonably good physical condition but I reckon if you're an experienced climber and are prepared to power up to the top without waiting once you get there, you could even make the round trip in 5 hours or less. 8-9 hours seems excessive unless you really want to take it easy. In short, don't worry about starting later than 9.30 - it can be done! As a rule of thumb if you can make it to the summit by 14.00 / 14.30 you should make it down before 17.30. Great views of the Andes from the top - worth the hard climb! See more..
