Great views of the city

This four-story home, offering 360 degree views of the city, is highlighted by "the jar of smoke," a round, post-modern fireplace designed by Neruda himself.

Great audio guide. Well worth the visit
Even though I have / had no knowledge of Chilean literature this was an interesting tour of a quirky house which wore the character of its famous owner. Fabulous location with a vista over all the City. Informative audio guide - arrived early -10 am- for opening time as suspect could get busy and numbers are restricted into what is a relatively small house

A fascinating insight to a complex man
We had heard about Pablo Neruda but knew little about him before our visit to La Sebastiana - one of his 3 homes. Walking though the house with the excellent English language audio guide was a great way to get a feel for the man and the very special home he created in Valparaiso. He certainly picked a beautiful location - the views over the harbour are to die for. Thoroughly recommended.
