- 5.0 Bochinche Expediciones (304 reviews)
-Resume de experiencia
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Adrenaline & Extreme Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
I did rafting with Bochinche Expediciones. It was unforgettable experience. My guide Nicolas was very professional, made all our crew feel safe and gave very clear instructions. The whole experience was very well organized. Futalefu is a magnificent river with rápids and the color of water I have never seen before. A highly recommended stop if you travel Carretera Austral. Unfortunately, I had only one day in Futalefu and I didn't have enough time to take the whole day rafting package which would have been ideal. See more..

-Pura adrenalina
Sunday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM Sightseeing Tours
Esperamos volver. Graciaaas! The bridge to bridge rafting section in Futaleufú river was an amazing experience. I am not able to swim and this kind of activities make me feel a bit anxious. However, I took the chance and tried it with my friends. Pedro, our guide, was the one in charge of making us feel confident and safe the whole time. We're looking forward to come back. Thanks!! - 4.5 Saltos del Petrohue (4.741 reviews)
-Wow - this is worth a stop
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Waterfalls
Really impressive! Great views of falls/rapids in a beautifully coloured river with forest and volcano backdrop. 3 seperate trails to viewpoints, really good photo access right up close to the water. Significant new infrastruction to upgrade the pathways and bridge, you feel very secure. Each trail is fairly short for walkers of all ages. Each one takes between 10 and 30 minutes. Also, we had a nice bite of lunch at the restaurant located where the 3 trails split off. See more..

-Gorgeous National Park that's Not To Be Missed
Sunday: 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM National Parks • Nature & Wildlife Areas
Parque National Vicente Perez Rosales clearly is a world treasure. With crystal clear rapids and sparkling lakes, the area is a must see for another in the Lake region of Chile. Driving around the various lakes to get to the park can take some time, but definitely enjoy the scenery along the way. The architecture blends beautifully with the natural environment, and you'll feel like you're in Europe most of the time. The volcano dominates the landscape and if you have clouds...have patience! Clouds generally burn off in the afternoon. See more..

-Wonderful Hike, suitable for children
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM National Parks
The hike to "Muelle de los Almas" left me positively surprised! We were lucky and went with sunshine, so there were great views of woodlands, the ocean, hills and cliffs. Really beautyful! The hike is easy for people in normal physical condition, suitable for children, yet not for people with walking difficulties or very old age. The Muelle offers beautuful views and does for great pictures. Only con: You have to wait in line to take a picture there, so all the nice pictures with someone in a lonely wild landscape away from civilisation are rather fake ;-) We did a nice picnic instead of waiting in line for a photo. Great family excursion! See more..

- 4.5 Parque Nacional Alerce Andino (431 reviews)
-Laguna Tirangulo is amazing
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM National Parks
It´s a bit of a hike (dayhike nontheless), but it is worth it. The first 4km may seem a little long and too "civilized", but from the "Alerce Milenario" on, it is a real adventure and Laguna Triangulo ist a stunning beauty. Be sure to start 9 AM or earlier and if it is a nice day, bring a swimsuit. See more..
- 4.5 Volcan Calbuco (346 reviews)
-And off it goes!
Volcanos
I was in Puerto Varas during Calbuco's eruption (April 2015) (seen from far and nowhere near town) and the power of nature gave me a view of its beauty and power. What an incredible one in a life time experience! While it's dormant, it feels like a big dormant giant... when it lit up, it was just colossal. See more..
- 4.5 Carretera Austral (342 reviews)
-The most beautiful road in the world
Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent More than 3 hours Scenic Drives
I haven't ridden all roads in the world, but among those I have driven in - carretera austral is the most beautiful one. Expect a trip inside a postcard. It is amazingly beautiful, though not easy. some advice: 1. Take a good car. You don't have to take a 4*4, but a high car with big wheels is something you need. 2. Carry cash with you. and extra gas. 3. drive no more than 50-60 km per hour. This way you won't get stuck and you'll enjoy the view for longer 3. stop on the way. It is a great road trip but at least in two places you should stop the car and walk: a. The enchanted forest. It is a 2 hours climb, but the pool of icy waters in the end and the beautiful forest on the way worth it. b. The hanging glacier: another 1-2 hours climb with a beautiful view at the top. See more..

- 4.5 Isla Aucar (209 reviews)
-A beautiful and breathtaking place
Islands
Very nice ride. In the bay there is a wooden bridge that allows you to cross when the tide is high. When it is low, you can walk across the beach. The beach is full of shellfish so in itself it is a spectacle to see how the seagulls release them in flight to break them and eat them. The island is very cozy and quiet. It has several very nice views and native tree forests. The church and the cemetery are protagonists in a very special place. It is a walk that must be done. See more..

- 4.5 Lemuy Island (143 reviews)
-A must when you are in Chiloé
Islands
The landscape is great, people are very nice and the churches are gorgeous. We decided to spend a full day at Lemuy Island and we enjoyed every minute. The Island is very hilly and you are constantly surprised by the next landscape after the hill. You only need a full tank because there are no gas stations in the Island, but it is very short (the longest distance was 26KM from Chulchuy to Detif). Also, you take a ferry which is an attraction for the kids. See more..

- 4.5 Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Gracia de Nercón (132 reviews)
-Beautiful, simple church with grand architecture
Churches & Cathedrals
One of the UNESCO world heritage churches of Castro, Our Lady of Grace church in Nercon should be on everyone's bucket list. While its style follows the grand churches of Europe, the realities and necessities of local building materials lighten the heavy feel of the church, creating a warm, inviting and local feel to this historic building. The craftsmanship is stunning and, making use of the materials available, the church was built with equal parts practicality and aesthetic in mind. The inside is beautiful and displays the importance this church plays in the community. Definitely one of the churches to see while in Castro. See more..
- 4.5 Seno de Reloncaví (130 reviews)
-What a drive!
Scenic Drives
We drove from Puerto Montt, took the ferry and drove around the Reloncavi! Magnificent views, the freshest air ever & the empanadas you can buy at the ferry are delicious! Please make sure you have a full tank as there are NO gas stations from Pto Montt! The drive was hectic as the NARROW road is badly corrugated & we had very bad weather, but it is stunning & worth driving! See more..
