The main attraction of Xi Dao is the adjoining small Niuwang Dao (island) sporting a massive eponymous golden bull on its summit. A pleasant excursion with some good views, fresh sea air and a busy open air food stall on the little island. The rainforest is about an hour and a half from Sanya but well worth travelling the distance for some breathtaking view and scenery. There are some many plants and animals on view that you'll need lots of time to appreciate everything. You can get there by bus but you're better off taking a car or arranging a tour. It's easy to get lost in the park so you could get a guide. Bring water, sun block, insect repellent, sun glasses and wear comfortable shoes. Enjoy the fresh air.See more..
