Mountain park located close to Yalong bay. Resorts may offer free bus transportation but it’s better to take a short taxi ride, which is much faster because it avoids many stops and some cross-sell. The mountain is mostly attractive for the view. Little teams take you up the hill. Guides can be avoided because in our view there’s not much apart from the views, which are nice on a clear day, overlooking the bay and Sanya. You can walk around the mountain and there is a commerce street with shops and attractions. Nicely done but quite touristy. The zip line might be ok for people I in need of a bit of excitement (not us). All in all, you can spend a fairly pleasurable 2 hours here. See more..

Luckily the day we went, was a cloudy day and hence it was a pleasant walk along the wooden pathway. You can also do a boat ride if you wish. Lots of mangrove have been recently planted and the area has been recently developed. You can see signs of redevelopment all along. If you enjoy a nice walk, then it is a good place to visit.See more..

For about 7 rmb you can take a public mini bus to this location. Not much to see or do there. But being amongst the coconut palm trees is nice. The local people are kind and eager to talk to any foreigners. Fresh coconut juice for 5 rmb is very refreshing and delicious. They could make this place a real tourist destination but I don't see that happening, too bad. See more..

It's a lovely walk to get to the waterfall, with a path you can easily follow. I was glad to see that the place had not been over-commercialized like some other nature attractions in China are. I would take a hat or umbrella if it's a very sunny day as it can get quite hot (a water bottle too). On your way back you can buy yourself a fresh coconut or sugarcane to munch on. It was a nice quiet walk when we went, with not that many people besides us (can't imagine what it must be like if it's very busy as some of the rocks can be a bit slippery so take care).See more..

The mangrove is well maintained. It is clean - as far as a mangrove can be. After all, it's still a swamp, but they do a good job keeping litter away. The area itself starts with a wooden bridge which you can ride on and if you keep going, it turns into a concrete then dirt track which is for walking only. There was literally not a soul there when we visited - so it could have been a beautiful and slightly adventurous nature walk. However, we brought our 2 year old along and this place is not suitable for youngsters. Wet, with a relatively narrow walking track and large pockets of water on either side - this is not where you want to bring a curious and wild-running toddler. If you are an adventurer looking for a bit of easy exercise, a lovely walk and spending time in a shady foresty area, this place definitely fits the bill.See more..
